Sucks about the buttons. Sadly if theres any issues from any components full of water like the batteries you probably won't know until some time passes.

Be interested to know what this truck is like in a couple of weeks once the water has a chance to settle and inside has had a chance to dry out.
What are the odds this is one of those daily rental Cybertucks out there?

Water is heavy. It will rip parts right off a vehicle driving thru at speed. Even lower speeds will scoop pounds of water into any opening. Would t do this unless I had no choice… but nice to know it works, if needed.

Nothing an OTA update wont fix..

Buttons not working might have something to do with water splashing way up due to going fast, manual specifically says to go under under 5 mph, maybe even slower

Wheel bearings love to absorb water if they are warmed up before crossing.

Is there no manual override for the tailgate Or tonneau? Seems like an oversight all of a sudden
