Got my email today, was denied :-(

Looks like I didn't have enough shares at the right time but I wanted to try anyways. :)
Would you mind letting us know how many you had ?

500 is the minimum, you/everyone knows that. The question really is how many you owned in 2021 vs how many you own now. If you had a lot of shares in 2021 but only have a few now you might get disqualified.

Thought it might be helpful for someone else. I have thousands more in 2024 than I had in 2021 (split adjusted), so I am not concerned for myself.

The way the language is written it seems that the requirement is that you must have owned some shares in Feb 2021, not a specified amount, and then must own at least 500 shares as of Feb 2024, and that 500+ shares must not be less that the equivalent of 50% of your 2021 holdings, meaning they want to see that your position has not shrunk by more than 50%. If your position has not changed or has gained in shares, you are good.
I, for example had around 150 shares in 2021, and have around 550 now so I should, by the language, meet the requirement. However, we don't know what this means for any of us.
Does it mean that your ability to turn your reservation into an order is accelerated? I would assume yes.
Does it mean that as an order holder it will accelerate your VIN and delivery? Unknown
Does it mean people with thousands of shares get priority over those with 500? Unknown.
We really have no idea what qualifying does for anyone, and so far there has been no follow up action by Tesla. So we do what we have been doing- wait.

Tesla seems to keep many things shrouded in mystery, I would guess, to avoid waves of customer service calls. I can't blame them for that, but it is tough as a customer who would love some clarity.

Has anyone received a communication from Tesla about their verification after providing documents? I am wondering what the next step(s) will be. Spitballing:

1. Applied for the accelerated delivery event (acknowledgement noted on account profile settings)
2. Received email requesting documentation
3. Submitted documentation <-- you are here!
I’m with you at step 3 and received notification that I’d be notified by email of next steps once my documentation was verified. Also, since I haven’t yet been offered the ability to select a Foundation series configuration yet, I’m hoping to receive an invitation (step 4) for that step and then get in the “waiting for VIN” queue (step 5).

I also wanna know if anyone has gotten past step 3. We submitted documents, and we hear people getting denied. But what about the ones that got approved? Anyone here?

4. Received acknowledgment of some kind:
4a. Your documentation has been verified and you are eligible for the program
4b. Your documentation has been verified and you are not eligible for the program
4c. Your documentation cannot be verified, please submit XXX
4d. Contact us at YYYY
5. Assuming that you got the 4a, received another (possibly the same?) email:
5a. If you have not configured, you are given the link to configure an order
5b. If you have already configured but haven't received a VIN, you get a VIN
5c. If you have received a VIN then you probably fall out of the program because delivery is imminent

I have no idea whether any of this is going to happen (beyond 3 since we are there already). What do you think?

Nothing yet here, wondering if we'll just start to see VINs pop in the coming weeks? This has been a much different rollout in terms of communication than the referral early delivery.

I tried to click the Submit button in your image, but nothing happened!

I got the email from the forum on March 11, but I never received an email from Tesla. I qualify and considered ordering early, but I missed the deadline.

I just read that people are getting trucks that died after delivery, so maybe if I'm better off waiting, but I would really like to get it.

It probably doesn't even matter. Tomorrow we’ll be at 3 weeks since they announced this program, and no one knows how this “early delivery” will even work… no one has gotten any type of confirmation after submitting documents.

"Early Delivery" for shareholders is an enigma wrapped in a mystery under a veil of ambiguity.

Weeks go by with no information, then...EMAILS, hurry, hurry, complete steps...and then...more nothing.

I'm also still unclear if current/former Tesla employees are eligible and this is effectively a program for those folks who accumulated stock/options in Tesla's ESOP. How many could there be? Tens of thousands? A hundred thousand? Probably something in between which is enough to soak up another 12 months of production on their own.

Some day we'll get a glimmer of more information. But that's not likely to be today.

Or tomorrow.

Or the next day.

Or even the day after that.

Some of us, namely me, have yet to even configure an order. I suspect that there is a larger population of people that submitted for the long-term TSLA event that haven't configured than have.

Employees were in the original VIP group, so I doubt they would need to use their TSLA shares to get bumped.

I hope that you mean the trucks died and not the people. I have read neither, thank goodness. I did read one comment (and way too many comments after that) that a truck was delivered and then stopped working. That is a long way from dying.

My guess is that that is because Tesla's favorite people are the YouTubers that were able to take advantage of the earlier 'referral' event. Look at the treatment that some YouTubers got when their CTs were delivered. Surely you don't expect that kind of treatment for every CT delivery. Since really high TSLA owners are likely in the VIP group that leaves the rest of us that mean almost nothing to Tesla; except for the one fact that a higher percentage of us (over non-TSLA owners) might still be interested in an FS Cybertruck. No special treatment or phone calls for us.

Jhodgesatmb with a 1130 RN you will likely get an invite the traditional way faster than shareholder path.

Think the shareholder path is for employees with options and folks like me with a ton of stock but a 1210 RN to be able to get a truck this year.
