Do we know the differences in CyberBeast acceleration between Comfort, Sport, and Beast?

I assume the Car and Driver test was done in Beast, which resulted in this:
https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a60115630/2024-tesla-cybertruck-beast-test/

Beast
60 mph: 2.6 sec
100 mph: 6.9 sec
1/4-Mile: 11.0 sec @ 119 mph
130 mph: 14.5 sec
Results above omit 1-ft rollout of 0.3 sec.
Rolling Start, 5–60 mph: 2.8 sec
Top Gear, 30–50 mph: 1.5 sec
Top Gear, 50–70 mph: 1.8 sec
Top Speed (gov ltd): 131 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 176 ft
Braking, 100–0 mph: 367 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft Skidpad: 0.75 g

Sport?

Comfort?

I need to ensure I'm prepared to school a Rivian, Lightning, and Hummer without messing with driving modes ?

Rivians are quick, similar power, much more torque

You can beat any of them in any mode…. I wouldn’t worry about it.

?? The beast can beat any of the current Rivian's 0-60, 1/4mi, Top Speed...guessing only in Beast Mode and that's on the quasi All Terrain Tires. Rivian appears to be more nimble (skidpad) and have a bit better stopping performance. Rivian is a solid truck performance wise but not faster in a straight line.

Not sure why Tesla left the torque in the 700's vs' 800's like the Rivian, nor why they didn't do better on the overall braking system for something so fast? (testers havent been overly complementary, just meh)

Hopping for a future sw update that brings a bit better driving dynamics on the street re traction control settings, suspension optimization, etc and guessing those are coming.

Sorry, I meant to say YOU CAN.

No one is beating the CT Cyberbeast even on Winter Tires.

However, people buying trucks don’t necessarily care about 0-60 or how fast it goes. Sure there are a handful, but for the majority they will just cruise in their trucks and not worry about the rice burner next to them.

So over-speeding ticket at 10 seconds?

I want to try it ar I-5 but it's only unpatrolled 3am. I know,i tried 140 mph on rented Mercury years afo when I was young and reckless (It reallh flies -- dangerously, when it hits a dip).

im 53, I don't ever start it but if someone wants a go, im in...street bikes, dirt bikes, M3P, etc...so I find it useful as I don't like to lose and typically have the equipment to back it up! (Time and place appropriate of course, am much calmer than younger years!)

Quad motor Rivian is 3.0 to 60 low 11s 1/4 mile so I’m not sure about that.

Theres been plenty of videos online of the Rivian being trashed by the Cyberbeast. Again, at least to me it’s not really important which is why I opted for the AWD.

The original question hasn't been answered. I've been looking for this info myself for a long time and can't find it. How many seconds 0-60 from a dead stop if you just mash it in "Beast Mode" without doing the "hold the brake/throttle to the floor" procedure? How about sport mode?

just bought a drag GPS monitor - receive on wed, will test over the weekend and publish what my beast can do if the different drive modes....definately curious what beast mode without launch will do, also what % charge the power drops off...supposed to be lower % than older cars, we'll see...going to test my street bikes, m3P and wife's SQ7 while im at it...should be fun

Looking forward to seeing your results. I mean, not as much as I'm looking forward to getting a VIN, delivery date, and my Beast, but still...

With most non-Tesla EV's the acceleration is heavily dependent on state of charge at the time of the run.

For example Hummer EV's with the 24 module pack are quick but...only if they have 80+% state of charge. If you're daily charging to 70-80% that monster will almost never be ready for a peak pull. Not sure how much the Rivian's drop off acceleration with state of charge but given their well-known thermal issues I wouldn't be surprised if it's something similar.

So a Cyberbeast at 50-60% state of charge would likely drop a quad motor Rivian (now obsolete) or 24 module Hummer at what would likely be 70-75% state of charge at best.

Because when you pull up at a light, you run what you brung.

In my experience comfort mode is slow as f

Standard mode is what I use for daily driving and is quick but definitely not fast

Beast mode is just mindbending fast

I changed my steering scroll shortcut to acceleration modes

When the Lambo pulls up next to me it’s a quick click for beast mode!
