Sorry this happened to the OP. I have a somewhat similar story of a sudden failure with my 2018 Performance Model 3, except that I didn't hit anything. I live on a slight hill. My car was a week or two old back in late August 2018, and I left home to run an errand. My pathway is to go uphill for a few houses and then make a turn where I start to go downhill and eventually make my away down to one of our main streets after some twists and turns.

Right after I made the turn at the top of the hill and started to go downhill, I went a few houses down and lightly pressed the brake pedal to keep my speed under control and there were no brakes. Well, that's what it felt like at first. I realized after a few seconds that it was my power brakes that had failed, I could still get a small amount of stopping power with a ton of force on the pedal, but it felt like I didn't have any brakes at all. It was a scary few seconds, that's for sure! I slowly got the car under control and stopped by really pressing for all I was worth on the brake pedal. I decided to turn around and go home, which took some effort to stop when I got to my house and started to go downhill again. I left the car parked on the street and contacted Tesla service.

They asked me the exact time of the failure and were able to get some information from the car. As I recall, they were able to verify that I had indeed suffered a temporary power braking issue. They sent out a tech to look at it. Honestly, it's been so many years ago that I forgot what they did to the car. But it never had that issue again.

OP, I'm very sympathetic to what happened to you...I hope that you can get your truck repaired and back on the road with a minimum amount of hassle...

I did have a simIliad braking situation. Came into a left turn on Yellow a lil hot ? and was surprised with my lack of braking before I initiated my tun. Luckily I slowed down enough to make the turn, but the mass and brake fade defiantly had an effect on its stopping/slowing abilities. Deffinatly an “Oh shit” moment!! And before everyone gets on me about driving a large vehicle too fast, I hold a CDL and I’ve been driving, tankers, dump tucks, and vacuum loaders for 30+ years

Only mentioning to see if anyone else has a had a similar experience

It's conceivable that regen could have been with regen shows it to be very effective.
I screwed your quote. Had to figure out of I had Regen on any of our other cars this week. Had to use some feet. Cybertruck braking is spot on. On a dime scary Regen.

Not sure what to say on OP. Nothing like our experience. Sounds like ya hit something. Pull the logs. Sounds like ya hit something.
Call NHSTA. Logs say ya hit something.

This happen to me on my crotch-rocket Gixxer on the freeway, ended up sliding it to avoid a collision. Survived it. Turns out, there was a recall on the front brake master cylinder but because of my relocation, didn't get my recall notice in time ?

I quit riding motorcycles, too many Prius's trying to kill me. But seriously, I'm too messed up physically to ride anymore, and lost too many friends on two wheels.

So sorry to hear, "lost too many friends on two wheels."
Me too?
But I still venture out into the jungle, now on my electric Zero SZF ?

At the beginning the OP was a troll because Tesla is perfect. OP post pics and now he doesn’t know the difference from brake and gas because Tesla’s are so sophisticated ???
Pics don't matter.

Having both the mechanical and double sensor linkages fail at once is not only unprecedented, it's baffling.

I feel bad for them, but... pedal misapplication can happen to anyone which is why you're usually taught to drive with a single foot.

Tesla has all the telemetry - they will be able to determine if the OP released the accelerator or continued to press it. Unfortunately there are many stories like this where the human recall versus the instrumental data collection does not match.

For the OP sake, hope it all works out.

Seems like the well known brake vs accelerator mishap. I looked at the diagram on the parts catalog, not even sure HOW the brakes could fail 100%. The brake-assist motor would have to be going backwards fighting your input to neutralize the braking.
Also, regen off? That should have at least caused a slight and gradual decrease in speed. At least, I would think a noticeable one... unless the accelerator was still down, validating your point.
