While I feel sorry for the OP 99.9% of the time when something like this happens it is either a complete mistake of accelerator vs. brake or some limited brake problem that then results in misapplication of the accelerator in a moment of panic.

From experience AEB is really fun. Not so much for the occupants. Wish for the extra points in the so called harness. Car was happy however.

Guys I had my Truck for less than 350 miles. something happened i cant explain... I was driving like usual and when coming into a turn releasing the accelerator but the speed wasnt reducing... so i pressed the brake... but it didnt engage.... until it was too late and i hit a signal light pole, also airbags didnt deploy.

Here are some pics of damage

Does the emergency shutoff (press and hold park button on stalk) not have an equivalent on the Cybertruck?

Oh, that blows. Sorry this happened to you.

Does anyone know what the process is to get Tesla involved? Gotta be valuable data there for them to analyze. Do the cars/trucks just flag that there's been a collision event and upload whatever they can? Almost sounds like the thing froze up for a few seconds.

Yes, any impact rolls the cameras.

Everything was spectacular i enjoy the vehicle and im glad i am not injured in any way. (airbags did not deploy) definitely have whiplash.

again i can only explain it as brake malfunction and how it happened, there was no warning signs , nothing, didnt decelerate fast enough, and brakes didnt engage fast enough, there was a delay,
Wait a minute. You say that the brakes didn’t engage ‘fast enough’ but earlier you said they didn’t engage at all. You say that you have whiplash but that the airbags didn’t deploy. Can these things coexist?

I don’t know if anyone has been watching the marathon that is the Out of Spec cross country race series on YouTube, but Kyle has said a few times how ineffective the brakes feel when regen is not working well. I am not yet the proud owner of a Cybertruck/have not driven a Cybertruck but I wonder if this could have been a factor.

Letting go of accelerator I can feel the limited regen , pressing brake it didn’t feel like it was catching until too late. Again I can only explain the laceration I don’t know what happened

It's conceivable that regen could have been limited. That's expected at high SoC and can be temperature-sensitive.

There are even some long-time Tesla drivers at TMC that believe regen was reduced in the last software update:

https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/regen-braking.323598/

although my experience with regen shows it to be very effective.
Good point about regen/high SOC but most Tesla drivers went through the setting change to enable braking when this scenario occurs. It IS scary the first time it happens.

Tesla needs to total the car to inspect it. Demand a new one, or a refund! And go through a lawyer...
