Tesla Cybertruck Foundation Series finally over? 1736812249199-

A bunch were just listed for SC inventory. Most are 2024 non-FS, but there's the same 6-7 FS that have been there for a month or so on there.

If I was nearing retirement age or no young kids, free supercharging would be awesome. For where I am in life right now, no value to me at all. I can count less than 10 times I used the supercharger with our Model Y purchased in 2020 that has 78k miles. First 2 years of that ownership was with 110v.

The FS is back in CA too. Looks to be nationwide.

The "Free Supercharging if you buy a Foundation Series" banners are still up, and now that makes sense.

With Tesla, it's never too late to be an early adopter !

All FS was gone over the weekend, but they are now listing demo models and a few more. I learned a while ago, that if Tesla has multiple vehicles of the same configuration near your area, they'll only list a single item on the inventory page.

When I asked about demo models back at the end of Dec. which the sales advisors had access to the pricing discount was just about the same near end of Dec which is about $1/mile. Fairly paltry IMO compared to the $3-5/mile on a typical demo discount. I decided to go for a new vehicle based on that.

I see Grey, Core Wheels + Beast still available....

That’s kind of a weak discount for a demo.
OK, but here is a Demo Foundation AWD, with 2,529 miles, in Tesla inventory for only $91,010. It's in the St. Louis, MO area. And yes -- FSD and Free Supercharging are listed as included features.

Edit: Oops, no, got bit by the "estimated gas savings" box. It's actually $96,510.

All but 3 in the picture I posted are "New Vehicles" for both FS and non-FS.

I'm in STL and strongly considering this demo vehicle. I do want the regular one and will be buying the FSD. It would be about $8k more going with the foundation and free supercharging... I have the order on hold when I learned about the IRS credit but never know when and if I will be able to get it.

All the Foundations have returned locally for me as well and some with demo discounts but not worth the discount versus new in my opinion.

There hadn't been many Foundation Series available in inventory on the west coast at all.

When they started, they had maybe 800 extra.

It is curious where the extras ended up.. a bunch in Florida, another pile in Colorado, etc.

We do know they did get a bunch of sales because of the incentive.

There's been 30-40 of them for several months at a parking lot in Mesa, AZ - a couple aren't FS ... most are

Overnight, it looks like there is no longer any inventory posted on Tesla‘s website although the free supercharging promotion is still on the banner.

Unlikely that they were all sold since they have been stuck on the lots for a while and the free supercharging offer isn’t super compelling for many folks.

Curious if they have all been purposed as demo/showroom trucks or if there was some orbital buffing of badges…

Regardless, it was a fun year for all of us early adopters. My one year anniversary is coming up on the 19th - good times!
I don't think so. There's still 4 available FSs at my ZIP code on the website inventory.

If the Free Supercharging deal is working, then maybe Tesla should consider re-launching the Foundation Series for 2025. Possible marketing slogans:

"Foundation Series UN-limited Edition"

"NOTHING is over until ELON decides it is"

"Foundation 2: Electric Boogaloo"
