It may seem funny to some people, but when the truck is parked at a significant angle (like when offroading) entering and exiting can be quite challenging. I used to have a Toyota FJ which has a handle mounted on the pillar, and that thing was extremely useful.
Untapped aftermarket potential for oh shit handles.

This isn't coming from a place of jealousy or hate, I just don't know enough about air compressors. Is there anything about this Tesla setup that would outperform what I got from Amazon for far cheaper? Maybe theirs has like 3x the power and I just don't know how to tell.

$200: 900W air compressor
$25: tire repair kit
Another ~50 for compressor hose and some different fittings/attachments.

The whole setup fits perfectly into the left side of the gear locker with dividers.

The obvious part I can see is Tesla's is smaller and might be a little more programmable, but double the price seems like a lot to pay for that!
It's really about branding / styling. It's kind of like Apple mouse is $80, and Logitech is $10.

Wish they went the Rivian route and integrated a compressor in the truck. That being said they could put the Cybertruck logo and a pile of dog poop and I’d think about buying it. So goes without saying bought the compressor lol.

Ironically the compressor is already in the truck, just not beefy enough to share the air.

Weird because there are dozens of these available elsewhere. Not sure why a Tesla-specific one is needed unless it produces [pure] nitrogen /s [sarcasm] :)

Aside: Nitrogen molecules are larger than air molecules, so they escape more slowly through the tire wall.

Air down to 15psi and see how long it takes or if at all to fill a 35” tire to 50psi with your jump start compressor and you’ll know whether 30min of continuous duty is worth it.

I can also come up with impossible scenarios. Like using the included tire repair kit in the field while having no tools to jack the truck and remove the wheel. Oh, you got the tools because you got the spare tire ? Then why would you be bothered with repairing the puncture and inflating the tire back when you got a spare ?

Well, if you're deflating all 4 for traction, why would you be inflating them with a gimmicky Tesla compressor ? That again makes no sense.
