Less than ideal application of fluid and squeegee. On the drivers side it’s adequate. On the passenger side however, the tension to the glass is lacking. Also the amount of fluid applied isn’t enough to fully clean the window. Maybe 1/2 which is needed.

Here’s a pic. 100 miles today in snow and road muck highway conditions.

Having same issue. When I first took delivery it worked great and now it barely sprays anything. I'm in VA and I'm wondering if they didn't pre-fill mine with antifreeze fluid and maybe that's why it's struggling (it's been 15 low/30-35 high lately). Following

I don’t see an easy fix for this one amigo.

Water flow psi (pump) or nozzle and tension modification seems needed.

I noticed this today too. It seems that the spray angle has it mostly shooting up, missing the lower portion of the windshield. When I get some time I was planning on trying to make a 3D printable spray diverter to force it downward.

Stopped to pick up my wheel covers yesterday and asked about the issue. Service Center is aware of the problem but he didn't seem to indicate that any good remedy is incoming. I hope he's wrong. He said I can make an appointment if I want but didn't think I'd see much improvement. Frustrating for an otherwise pretty good vehicle.

Here is an idea……. Create a pressure seal type washer fluid cap and run a moderate PSI regulated air pressure line to the reservoir to augment the pumps push of course with a solenoid to only boost while in use… or tie in a peristaltic pump type cam on the wiper motor to boost pressure in the line ?

I took my to service, they replaced the whole arm but no change. They told me Tesla knows about it and it is working on a solution that may involve re-engineering the arm or wiper, most likely there will be a recall.
This is great to know, since it’s a legit issue. It’s the only thing that is wrong with this fantastic vehicle.

To give Tesla data, I recommend scheduling a service appointment for it. This is what I did.

After delivery had the same issue. When service the tech needed to tighten the bolt on the wiper arm and make an adjustment so the pressure was equally on the passenger side. You may need service.

Totally agree with this issue. Needs more fluid/pressure to improve how well it cleans the windshield.

We have this issue too.
I have seen suggestions that this issue is common with people using RainX washer fluid.

What washer fluid is everyone using and how does this correlate to the issue?

I filled with RainX a couple of weeks ago, but in Colorado snow I will probably need to fill again within a month.
