I heard that noise for the 1st time 2 days ago, driving out of a parking lot making a sharp left turn and pitching down a hill. Never heard it before and haven’t heard it since. Will have them check on my next appointment.

Unfortunately noise will happen more often.

Wow. Thanks for the post and video! I've had my truck for just 2 months and this has happened a half dozen times since I bought it, exactly as you describe too: going down a hill and turning with regen on! I've been meaning to head to a hill where I wanted to continue trying to recreate it for a video but this thread has saved me a ton of extra work

We had almost the same exact symptoms with my wife's Model X. Turning to the left, front clunking and/or grinding noise....intermittent and not always reproducible.

Service technician drove it and, as expected, nada. Then as he was turning into Tesla, there it was!

Three hours later.....out comes a pebble somewhere "around the brake calipers."

I hope that's all it is.

Yes the tech did drive with me, but we could'nt raplicate it. Service center location is pretty flat and it happens more under regen going down a hill. Truck is going in tmw hopes it gets solved.

I have had a similar experience with the "stuttering" effect in our parking ramp at work when leaving however it only has happened when very cold outside (say <20 F) and only in the first turn of the ramp and nothing thereafter. The CT does have a brake wiping feature but the manual suggests it also needs to be wet conditions which it has not been but maybe that's what's happening and sort of feels like on an exaggerated basis.

Also we have salt everywhere here from winter road conditions so not sure if there are some parts seizing a bit that's causing the behavior. Will monitor this thread for developments.

I am aware of this brake wiping feature, but this is very diferent for me at least. Truck is goin in tomorrow and its gonna be easier now that i was able to capture in video from interior and exterior of the truck.

Same, left turn regen.

Also same, heard a loose rock bounce under the front afterwards, hope that was it.
