This is an off-road wheel by Fittipaldi:
  • load rating of 3700 lbs
  • 18"
  • 9" width
  • 18mm offset
  • Lug centric
Extreme terrain (x/t) maxgrip tires:
  • 35"x12.5"
  • 3 ply reinforced
$588 per wheel+tire, shipped, balanced, including lugs.

Requires NO modifications.

Road noise is marginally higher than stock ATs, but only slightly. Nothing like MTs.

Efficiency hasn't significantly changed at 50psi.

Ride quality is much better! It's a softer feel on 18" wheels with the extra side wall, can also comfortably air down to 25psi going slow off-road with the extra side wall!

Very nice looking. Rookie question,
are off-road tires softer? In other words, do they wear down faster in the heat like snow tires? I live in Arizona.

On hot pavement, off-road tires can wear down faster than all-season tires, potentially lasting 20,000–40,000 miles compared to 50,000–70,000 for harder highway tires. Snow tires, by contrast, may wear out in under 10,000 miles in similar conditions.

Very cool. Is there another pic that shows the whole truck from a little distance?

@misdemeanor is 100% correct. However, I'm unsure about X/T tires as they are advertised as hybrid road/off-road similar to A/Ts. I'm too new to this type of tire to really know. I do know that XTs are somewhere in between ATs and MTs, and MTs will certainly wear down faster on road and are less efficient at speed.

For me, the question comes down to cost:miles. At sub $300 per tire, I'll be very happy with 40k miles. Time will tell! I expect that in ATs, but not MTs; XTs are a mystery lol

Very rational argument

Just a heads up, that link isn't preserving the correct sizes. I just noticed that so don't order anything without checking
I noticed that as well when looking at the sizes. Thanks again for the link!

Cool man. Looks good. They kind of give steely vibes.
I mean that as a compliment in case it’s ambiguous. Steel wheels are often polarizing. People love them or hate them.
