Obviously anyone that owns a CT is a very patient customer, won't get into that. Picked up my FS Beast 14 months ago, every month for the last 4-5 I get a new appointment to schedule my lightbar install, and it gets pushed month after month. Usually for missing primer. Was supposed to have an appointment tomorrow to put in the last item of my 120k vehicle and now it's all on an engineering hold (at least according to my message back from service). I'm a big Tesla shareholder and want to them to do very well, but come on man, finish the vehicle! I'll be on my second set of tires (30k miles) before they deliver what they intended.

Yeah they forgot to polish mine, so I guess that might make it unfinished. Hold my ? while I ask what you consider a big shareholder.

I should have mentioned the traffic aware cruise control, which might get you killed brake checking for no reason going down the highway, or the FSD that rides the rumble strip and might hit a curb taking a corner. People who have a 3/x/y/s comment on how great the FSD is but when they drive a CT they won't use it, it's not ready.

As far as shares I won't get into *ick wagging but I'm a long term investor who's made enough to retire and purchase more CTs than I'd ever need, and I hope that continues.

I owned a M3P before CT, admittedly a ‘23 model with HW3, but CT has caught up and surpassed it as far as FSD goes. It does just fine. Maybe it isn’t up to par with current AI4 cars but I’m not sure.

FSD will do some silly things at times but my baseline judging point for it is this:
1) Will it get me where I want to go?
2) Will it cause an accident?

The answers, respectively, are absolutely and absolutely not. So it’s fine for me. We can’t all expect it to drive precisely how we drive. They could make CT unsupervised today and I’d have no second thoughts trusting it with my life. It’ll get honked at, passed by losers driving themselves, but who cares? It’ll get you places and do it safely.

I checked TMC and found 257,000 threads on “phantom braking”

I have never had a phantom hard braking event in the CT. Had a couple on my Model 3 with the radar (and never after they moved to vision only)

I have a couple events on my regular 2 hour trip, one always in the same spot, flat straight 4 lane road in the middle of nowhere.

on FSD, I have had ZERO phantom braking events. On traffic aware cruise control, it happened a few times, but no where near as bad as it used to be pre-FSD in my other Teslas.

The answer to your question is a resolute "No." I had the 41st Signature Model X ever built. The Cybertruck is nowhere near that circus.

That said, in all cases, Tesla took care of me. It's the curse (and upside) of being an early adopter
