I get it. Foundation Series buyers got shafted in more ways than one.Yet another slap in the face to us. This could have easily been a way forward to reward early adopters of the CT. But no. I mean it’s really becoming increasingly unfair at this point. We’re siloed off with no pathway to free lifetime supercharging.
Why do these purchasers deserve this type of consideration more than we do?

I would have to disagree with you on that… I think they fumbled the execution of this truck from the moment they released the stats and price of the production truck… Everything from that point forward seemed to be in salvage mode… Once sales began and the real catastrophe started, I think that the company did what companies do regarding regarding trying to get their product sold. Sure, what they did didn’t necessarily help sales, but I don’t think it made them worse… I think the truck was already beyond struggling at that point. They lost the momentum and also early adopters have had to face the abuse as well .. just not a good sales strategy ….
Yeah I definitely missed that thanks for pointing it out!We had a few threads about that when it first happened.

You must have been tied up. Yeah, it’s sucky. FS owners should be taken care of, coming from a NFS owner.
Agreed. This perk has turned out strictly for increased sales. So “placing” it on already sold inventory would not be logical. (In a logical world.)We had a few threads about that when it first happened.

$15,000 for LUXE for CT. Minus $8000 for FSD…that leaves $7000.Tesla should just offer the Luxe package at a discounted rate to FS CT owners. Why the discount? We already have lifetime premium connectivity. No need to have it twice, what would that even mean?
So for $1,500 or so get lifetime supercharging, wheel and tire coverage and glass coverage. I'd buy that.
The limited-time offer for recent Model S and Model X buyers had a key requirement:$15,000 for LUXE for CT. Minus $8000 for FSD…that leaves $7000.
How did you come to $1500 for Luxe just because you have premium connectivity?
Luxe package for CT is $5000 more than S/X. I assume that is because CT battery pack is bigger than S/X.The limited-time offer for recent Model S and Model X buyers had a key requirement:
- Previous Full Self-Driving (FSD) purchase: The post-purchase package was only available to owners who had already paid for FSD, which was priced at $8,000 at the time. The package itself was offered for an additional $2,000, bringing the total cost to the same $10,000 price point for new vehicle buyers.
So $2K for S/X buyers who opted in for FSD (simlar to Cybertruck FS with FSD bundled in) less ~$500 for lifetime connectivity gets me to $1,500 for the rest.
where did you come up with the $15k?Luxe package for CT is $5000 more than S/X.
Tesla came to $2k because Luxe $10000 - FSD $8000 (for those buyers paid for FSD already) = $2000 for early 2026 S/X owners to add Luxe post-purchase.
For CT, it will be as my math above:
CT Luxe $15000 - FSD $8000 (for Foundation Series) = $7000 for CT FS owners to add Luxe.
Tesla made the Luxe Package mandatory for the top-tier Cyberbeast Cybertruck in August 2025, increasing its price by $15,000 to $114,990, which includes Supervised Full Self-Driving, lifetime free Supercharging and Premium Connectivity, and a four-year premium service plan.where did you come up with the $15k?
it would likely be $7000. My guess is that not many and this is why Tesla is not offering it.So, by show of hands, how many of you would pay Tesla $10k to add the luxe package to your FS car now?
Let’s say they were generous and gave that discount off of $15k for the relatively trivial cost of premium connectivity.
