1.ANC on Teslas make no measurable difference. My 2026 ventilated seats work great.
Another thing is losing the active noise canceling means the 60K version will be louder.
On one hand I'm glad the Cybertruck will live on. On the other hand, this will boost sales a lot and make them much more common...
I ordered the $79k Cybertruck on 2/5, VIN was assigned on 2/7, and delivery is scheduled for 3/6.
Now Tesla just announced the $59k AWD version (no air suspension), and I’m honestly hesitating. I’m currently leased at $1,190/month with $3,000 down, and the new one would be about $980/month with the same down payment.
It’s basically a $210/month difference for air suspension and whatever else comes with the higher trim.
I’m close to delivery and not sure if I should stick with my order or switch. What would you do in this situation?
Sometimes I hate Tesla. Just give us more info. Not just some short answer that leaves everything in limbo…and creates more confusion!![]()

Me.Real question. Who would buy the higher trim AWD now? Awfully big jump in price for those options.
51K plus the would be $7500 federal credit and if you squint it's almost what he promised.
They can probably still trade their cars in now if they didn't spend too much on modifications. Purchase price at 70K, trade in value now would be about 58K?My post on X:
This. They should have done this SO long ago. Is it too late at this point? I don't know how many people really want a Cybertruck anymore these days.
From start to finish, they should make a case study on Tesla/Cybertruck. How not to run a car company/launch a product. What a fail from start to finish.
Did Tesla remove all the extra features last night? You do realize that the value of your current CTs dropped like 10-15k overnight? and that there will barely be any sales the next months until this, really great deal, version is coming online?
For me, I really like the air suspension, pleather seats, cooled front/heated rear, upgraded stereo and my kids are in love with the rear screen. I wouldn’t want to give up those features. No question this new model is a better deal though; I don’t think the combined value of the upgrades is $20k. Even worse argument for the Beast at $40k. It just matters how much you care about the extra stuff or the extra cash. I’d go with the stuff, but the cash is probably more sensible.I ordered the $79k Cybertruck on 2/5, VIN was assigned on 2/7, and delivery is scheduled for 3/6.
