Original was probably ‘A’. You got revision ‘E’. They’re now installing revision ‘G’. It doesn’t necessarily mean G is ‘better’ than ‘E‘. Sometimes revisions are supplier changes, or they found a less expensive way to make it, etc.I had a PCS replacement at 12000 miles last September. Foundation AWD Vin 0013xx. Only real issue I have had with the truck which now has 18000 miles on it.
Looking at my invoice it was replaced with part 48AMP(1777777-12-E) which is a different part number than others on here.
Does that mean I got the original part which will be prone to failing again?
