Just guessing not quoting and it wasn’t about your position but about the whole thread. If people are passing you like you are standing still, or getting upset at your speed (passing right and left), then they are probably going 15-20 mph faster than you. If the speed limit is 85 then they are going 100. It wouldn’t be seen by many people as an issue if it was a few people here and there but if it is seen as a problem then it must be a significant portion of the drivers. This issue has zero to do with the speed law. All of Tesla max speed controls allow you to exceed the speed limits if you so desire. It is about safety of a very distracting unsafe unnecessary alarm.
Where have I said anything about driving 100mph? I find it amazing how facts get so distorted.
My position on all of this is easily seen by the following: I happen to be of the belief that FSD should obey all laws, and that if people want to drive over the speed limit by more than 10% they should be driving manually. But I am also of the belief that cars should be issuing speeding tickets to each other in a swarm-like manner. I wrote a patent application a few years ago to this effect and my company laughed at me; the world ‘wants’ to speed.
