Well, you have the mobile charger, that may be enough for you.

In my area, Superchargers cost 3x more than home eletricity, so I would still consider charging at home.

Not sure why you quoted my post. I agree with you, having a charger at home is the way to go. Even if it cost you more to charge at home it is nice to have the ride always ready to roll.

Awesome! I get the thought about not installing a home charger but I will say it is nice to always be able to get in your ride and have the charge you need for the day without having to stop anywhere. Also it is nice to have it plugged in to precondition the battery and/or interior without having to drain the battery at all.

Please don't use Superchargers as your primary charging source. Aside from clogging up the infrastructure, you really miss out on the EV experience.

Part of the great EV experience is never having to go anywhere to charge, always being full.

Depending on your average daily commute, you probably don't even need the gig solutions.

I've charged TWO Teslas by alternating access to a single 120V 15A plug for years.

All new Foundation Cybertrucks come with them. Tesla new cars no longer come with mobile chargers haven't since April 2022. I won't be surprised if when the non Foundation series comes out that the mobile charger is not included.

Given that the Cybertruck uses a different version of the Mobile Connector which supports Powershare/ V2L, it may continue being included.
Or Tesla transitions to only making the new version?

Having the home charger will at least give you options, and convenience when needed. Also the slower charging rate is better for the battery longterm - less heat, less degradation.

V2H is via the wall connector.
V2L uses the mobile connector and new adapters to get more power to your thingys than the bed outlet supports. (At least as I understand it).

40A gets you 9.6 kW.
Powershare can pump out 11.5kW / 48A
It might be that the MC only supports 32A but combined with the bed outlets, you can get 48A total. Or use it like a 32A extension cord.

MC being Mobile Charger? I don't think the mobile charger supports powershare or am I missing something? Your terminolgy is confusing me up above you refer to a Mobile Connector what is that? It is my understanding that to use PowerShare you need the Universal wall charger and a Gateway or supposively the older wall chargers work if you have a powerwall setup.

Are you saying you can backfeed 32amps through a Mobile Charger?

OK I see the confusion you are confusing the Universal Wall Connector with the mobile charger two totally different chargers. For the record both chargers are included in the Foundation series.

Can you show any actual evidence of someone sending power backwards on the mobile connector plugged into the truck's charging port into a female nema 14-50 outlet? Or are you just asserting that because the name is powershare it must have that ability?

Otherwise there is no distinction between the powershare mobile connector and the standard mobile connector in terms of function. You plug the connector into a wall outlet on your house to charge the truck, or into a bed outlet in the truck to charge another car (i.e., share power)

I cannot. To the best of my knowledge, no one has recieved the adapters that provide a socket connection instead of a plug. (32A limit likely precludes 14-50 though)
Also not sure if that unlocks the full 11.5kW...

OK I stand corrected I thought the Mobile Connector was the same as my other MCs but I just checked the box you are correct it has V2L on it. I just find it difficult to believe Tesla would implement this. So if you can backfeed an outlet from the MC at 32A you are going to be feeding your entire house and the grid for that matter unless you do some manual breaker setup. Seems like a big liability to take on.
