So I plan to have the home backup system installed, with that being said should I still be buying the Wall Connector for charging when I pickup the truck (today)? or should I wait until I get the backup system installed.

the included 32 amp mobile charger is enough for now. No need to purchase a wall charger immediately.

As of now you can't get the powershare gateway by itself, it comes in a bundle with the universal wall charger. The voucher you will get emailed will pay for the bundle. So if you don't need a second wall charger then don't buy one now.

Check with your utility company. Many have special deals on wall chargers. My utility company not only gave me a free Chargepoint Home charger ($600 value) that has the Tesla plug, but they also paid for my installation with my electrician. This charger is nicer than Tesla's (IMHO). Of course this is all moot if you get PowerShare.

This makes sense, I'm just not trying to get 4 miles an hour....
I’ve just been using the mobile charger even though it is so slow. Also waiting for power share. So far it’s actually been OK. I’m not using the car for at least 12 hours each night so that’s gotten me back a bunch of power each day.

I live in a condo and my parking space is 20 feet from my building. Completed the survey and was told I am not eligible "at this time", so they are giving me SC for free for one year. I don't need this since I am getting charger installed in my space. Any idea how I can get the Powershare offer which seems very valuable?

I'd say you would have to call Tesla and talk to them. I've seen posts of people that declined powershare getting the voucher but I have no idea how Tesla decides who gets a voucher anyway and who gets super charging.

I have had a Tesla since 2018, never installed a wall charger. Always used the included mobile charger with whatever adapter that is required for the charge I want.

I am waiting to buy my wall connector with my $2,500 voucher. But, as I understand it, I won't receive my email voucher until I take delivery of my Cybertruck. Is that accurate?

I just installed a wall charger in my detached garage on a 60-amp Breaker so when my Cybertruck is delivered I will be able to charge it, and when I get my power Share connector installed in my house garage (if it works out with my electrical panel) I will be able to charge at either place on my property.
