If using 30A outlet, you'll need an adapter. Mobile Connector only comes with 50A and standard. So I just have the home cord for now
Should I be fine with a 30a box or do I need 50a
Ah so I couod use the 30a then as I'm looking at the mobile connectorIf using 30A outlet, you'll need an adapter. Mobile Connector only comes with 50A and standard.
30A (24A charging) will work pretty well. Mobile Connector maxes out at 32A.
Yeah, need to get adapter from Tesla or Amazon. There are two flavors of 30A, with neutral and without (4 or 3 pin). Connector itself doesn't use neutral. Cybertruck charge rate in miles of range per hour will be a little lower than the X.Ah so I couod use the 30a then as I'm looking at the mobile connector
Never a substitute for horsepower. So I just have the home cord for now

Mobile maxes out on a 40A circuit (32A charging).Never a substitute for horsepower.
Install 60A line if you can. Everything less begins trade-offs in diminished capacity.
Less amps doesn't make it unusable, but I believe 60A maximizes your home charging options (mobile or wall).
Per code, divide the Amps by 0.8 and select the next highest round 10 breaker available. For example, 11.5 kW/240 V is 47.91 Amps/0.8 = 59.89 so you need to land on a 60 Amp breaker. So I just have the home cord for now
