NEWS: Some Cybertruck owners in Florida are using Wade Mode after Category 4 Hurricane Helene (up to 140 mph winds) made landfall tonight. Wade Mode uses the truck’s built-in air suspension to pressurize the battery, enabling it to drive in water up to 31" deep for 30 minutes.

If everything goes to shit, what difference will your vehicle make? Frogs, locusts, raining fire and brimstone --none of these are covered in the Manual. Unless you have a Volvo...

I think he meant from the saltwater getting all over the truck... things rusting in there and everything goes to shit.

Given that Elon wanted the CT to cross the channel at South Padre Island (salt water) I should think Tesla would have done their best to accommodate salt water. That said, it only makes sense to take it through a car wash after all this and then dry it out.

Exactly. It's a CyberTruck. The All-Electric Tank of the Climate Crisis Chaos Apocalypse. This is what it was designed to do.

I wonder how the supercharging infrastructure is affected for those who are using their CTs for PowerShare. If supercharging is available, perhaps they can take short trips to the supercharger to recharge the CT to continue their PowerShare.
The smart thing to do is to turn off your AC. You can power the average home for 4 to 5 days if you don’t use the AC. To me, the AC is a luxury that should be bypassed when you have events like this. Otherwise, you will be drained within 2 days and there may not be a supercharger in range that has power.

Some people will be without power for more than a week.
