What are some of the products everyone uses to wash their cybertrucks particularly the ones without a wrap.
I'm interested in maintaining it clean as it comes. Not interested in coatings, films or protective measures here.
1)what do you use to wash it?
2)what do you use after the wash?
3)what do you use on the wheels?
4)what do you use on the plastics?
5)what do you use on the glass?
6)what do you use on the interior surfaces
like seats, carpet, dashboard and door panels

I've heard people use bartenders' friend on the stainless steel.
I haven't tried it don't know if it works.

1. I wash with standard car wash soap. Get an extendable car mop to make cleaning too easier.
2. I squeegee excess water and blow off the rest to reduce water spots. I use a waterless wash with distilled water sometimes to remove any water stains.
3. Same, but I ceramic coated those. So it’s easier to clean.
4. LVP cleaner on inside and outside when needed.
5. Spray away glass cleaner.
6. LVP on all inside surfaces. Works great.

All that being said. I don’t wash my truck very often. I stopped keeping it super clean after I took it to NC and got it super muddy and dusty after the hurricane. It looks great shiny, it also looks great super dirty!

Exterior
1. Power wash
2. Foaming gun with Mr pink soap
3. Microfiber mitten scrub with a bit more focus / pressure by door where finger prints typically appear
4. Power wash
5. Microfiber towel dry outside and door jams
6. Foam spray tires with Tire foam

Interior
1. Vacuum
2. Wet/moist - water - towel wipe

Ie nothing abrasive and I am also not anal about the natural design/pattern of the SS. Embrace it.

I use high pressure water.
Spray away on glass.
Warm water on microfiber for cleaning inside.
I don't use any product on wheels or tires. Tire application if not removed tends to spray all over greasy like.

I don't do this more than once every other week unless I drive through an area that uses dust abatement products.

Not a garage queen I would say. We don't do that thing around here. Unless it is something special. Trucks don't count.

1)what do you use to wash it?
Mostly a touchless car wash not far from the house. If it has a lot of bugs I will blast the front with a pressure washer first. Once in a while I do a hand wash at home to help remove any film.
2)what do you use after the wash?
Microfiber towels
3)what do you use on the wheels?
Nothing
4)what do you use on the plastics?
Wet microfiber towels
5)what do you use on the glass?
Sprayway ammonia free
6)what do you use on the interior surfaces
Wet microfiber towels

Our X doesn’t get out much now. Took it out the other day to give it the monthly wash. I find the Cybertruck easier to clean, I’d say the X takes twice as long to dry all the areas like doors n’ what not.

I have an Unger “brush on a stick” and automotive soap.

I have a smaller stick for the windshield interior, either Sprayway or Invisible Glass.

A synthetic chamois works for the final wipe down, and for interior cleanup of minor soiling.

Neither the wheels nor tires are stainless lol, nor exotic, so treat them as you usually would.

BKF is more like a cleaner wax, use when needing to remove stains or even out the finish.

If its really dirty I just scrub it with water and the brush below.
For actually cleaning it a lot of people have recommended the SprayAway foam glass cleaner. I have to agree it works the best.
I'm using the Feynlab Interior Cleaner but still testing it out. It was recommended on here.
Lots of microfiber cloths for everything, LoL.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AP585M - sprayaway glass cleaner
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B3XNMQK - for scrubbing everything
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CVQTJ1W7 - cleaning all the glass
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004S927NW - extension I use for everything
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LVZ882Z - used for the window cleaner and extension ( I drilled my own holes for the pins)

Just water on the wheels and plastic (I guess dawn if I'm washing another car for wheels and plastic).

*get a decent squeegee for squeegeeing everything down. Makes drying with the microfiber cloths a lot faster.

Took delivery on 05/30/2024.

Sprayway and Costco microfibers are all I use. Takes ~20 min. Usually ~1x/week.

I’ve never had water on my CT since delivery.

This is how it looked two days ago after a wipe down.

I bought my own gas station-style windshield scrubber, so I can get after anything that poses a real problem, but honestly I don't hate a gentle sprinkling of mud and dirt, as long as I (and the cameras) can see. I'll run it through the local touchless when it's heinous. Otherwise, y'know, it's.... it's a truck. It's supposed to get muddy and mulchy and dirty and covered in bugs and stuff.

Is Sprayaway glass cleaner safe for windows that are tinted?

Without the wrap, pull in manual car wash and keep windex on hand!

Post wrap is another matter entirely. I still use a pull in manual wash but bring everything with me from foam cannon, to brush, I essentially use it for rinsing only!

The sole reason I did not wrap my CyberTruck is so I can drive thru the car wash and come out the other end 90 seconds later clean as a babies backside. More time enjoying it versus cleaning it.

I just run mine through the car wash; no problemo. The inside of the windshield is a hard reach but other than that the car wash works great; none of the problems people have posted online.
