Per their merchant agreements with the card associations, they are not permitted to charge your card until they ship the item to you thus fulfilling their end of the transaction. If you're been billed without receiving tracking information, by all means process the dispute/chargeback. If a vendor gets enough chargebacks they will have their ability to process the associated cards (Visa, Amex, MC, etc.) revoked by the association as they should.

Can't speak to T Sportline, was considering the lightbar but will now hold off. This is just bad business taking a customers money without shipping.

Setting expectations is important. I ordered a wrap from them last week and understood it would ship immediately after processing. I paid the extra for 2 day shipping and got the email that it had shipped on Tuesday, so I made plans to wrap it this weekend. It didn’t come on Thursday, so I checked the tracking number and apparently FedEx didn’t pick it up until Thursday afternoon. 2 day shipping should mean it would be here Saturday, but I guess they didn’t pay for Saturday delivery, so Monday it is. I sent an angry email, but no response yet. In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal after waiting 4.5 years for the truck, but for a small company, just set good expectations and people won’t be upset.

I have had NO issues with them. I even got a bad charger, sent them an email they called me a few days later and shipped me a replacement.
I would order from them again without hesitation.
Sorry you had a bad experience. I agree with others it’s got to be a one off.

I always tend to miss the pre order stuff on the site. They have been cool however on refunding. A couple days here and there for communication.

Pretty solid supporter of Tesla and the tuning community. I don't throw stones in my glass house. So no one is perfect, yet giving a pass vs. being a total ass can be the difference in one's life. Really don't sweat the small stuff.

I’ve had good experiences with T Sportline in the past (before my CT days). Hope they make this right. If they go downhill I’m not overly loyal to them.

If I were them, I'd just refund your money and move on.

I’m having the same problem with a few vendors who sponsor this site. The problems I have had is a few of these vendors use a US based telephone with WhatsApp support (big red flag) fronting a Chinese company. I have had problems with @Teslaunch and now @CTMODS. It’s interesting because you order, then you get some interesting email with poor English. They promise to ship in a certain amount of time and you MIGHT get your stuff in 30-60 days even though they promise shipping in 5-7 days. I forced a refund on Teslaunch and about to do it on CTMODS. I sent a DM to @Administrator about this but I never heard back. This may be my last time ordering from any vendor on this website because so far it’s not been a pleasant experience. Buyer beware.

PS: I forgot to mention, after ordering from CTMODS, a front for TES Studio, to reorder it from Amazon, and if I give a positive review, they will PayPal me the amount of the product. I responded to them for a link and never got a response. The whole thing stinks to hell.

If you bothered to read the thread, you would know that ETA estimate was not there when he ordered.
Oh I missed that have each of his post were similar and appeared like he was looking for a freebee.

Yeah, it's there now, but I don't think it was there when I ordered it. Regardless, their email stated it will ship in 2 to 10 days and we are at three weeks. Perhaps if they learned how to communicate and respond to emails there wouldn't be an issue. I'm glad you two are loyal to them, but I wish you luck when you finally run into an issue with them, because hands down they are a horrible company to work with, from my experience! I know some other people have had good experiences with it, but I am far from the only person that thinks this company is poorly managed.

Just seemed like T Sportline has been here a long time and have put out some nice info videos from early on. They've been pretty conscientious in their designs it seems.

100% agree that all vendors need to be clear on pre-orders vs shipping within a couple days type situations.

The vendors that are asking you to post 'want it' or some such thing so they can send a DM discount code seem cheezy.

You could also be stuck in their spam filter, which happens from time to time. I’ve never done business with them, but I’ve heard nothing but good things, so please reconsider the chargeback and give them a holler Monday morning when you’re back in the office. At least give them the chance, I’m certain that they want to make it right.

Oh wait…. Funny you mention that. On the CTMODS case, they posted here… “Tell us you want one and we will DM you a special discount code”. So I did that. They DMd me a discount code for what they say was 31% off. Their website has 30% off. Wow! A whopping 1% off over their normal discount. But wait…. There is more! When you use the code, it’s not 31%…. It’s thier standard 30% off. ?. I guess they think we are stupid.

Cheezy is an understatement.
