Group A: People willing to spend a few weeks waiting to gain a year newer model

Group B: People who own the old model year shaming those in Group A for waiting

Just picked up my AWD on Friday the 13. 53xxx vin and R code. It also still has the forward mounting doors for the cross bars. 5th Tesla and it is absolutely amazing.

Oddly the EPC use to show both the before (with) and after (without) the doors (as of Nov 14, 2024). Now it just show the "with rack doors"

I heard of a guy on a Facebook group who claims he was assigned a 2025 VIN ending in 59xxx but he didn't provide the VIN. I was just at a TSS and the Sales guy pulled up the local inventory (N Cal area) and all I saw were 2024 VINs, like 20 of em. From what I could see, most were in the 55xxx to 56xxx range, all 2024's.

I was on the fence waiting on a 2025 VIN at the end of October. Glad I didn’t wait! The truck is awesome

Most of the folks wanting the 2025 (for various reasons) are not gonna chime in here because of the 2 trolls who chew out everyone who wants the 2025.

Not a troll, just someone driving a CT talking to someone who isn’t. I haven’t seen one legit reason to wait. If you’re gonna wait several years you’d have an argument I suppose. I’m talking about people ready to buy right this second that are waiting for a 2025 VIN for no reason.

And I don’t care if it costs more or I loose whatever incentive or if it’s exactly the same as the previous 2024 on the same production day, just that it has an “S” in the 10th digit of the VIN. I guess I’m just crazy like that, some people might say, but to each their own! ?

But your reasoning to get a 25 won’t satisfy the troll. LOL
