Cybertruck was out testing at the Merced County Castle Airport (about 2 hrs east of Fremont factory). You can see there's windshield wipers, side mirrors and the wheel aero covers have been removed. Do the rear tires look bigger than the fronts?

And here's the video posted earlier today showing rear steering and turning radius.

First off, why is it that every time someone gets a good shot of the CT, it looks like they took it with an early-2000's Nokia??

Secondly, I don't see windshield wipers in any of the photos.

Third, it might be the angle of the photos, but to me it looks like the hood or "Frunk" cover is much shorter in these pictures versus the prototype model we have seen everywhere (see attached photo below for reference. Idk, maybe I'm crazy, maybe it's the angle, maybe it's Maybeline, maybe it's the crappy photo quality.

Digital zoom for the loss! (Of useful resolution)

Likely the photographer was at the max range of zoom away from the truck and using their phone.

Maybe they trimmed the frunk to make room for the wipers...?

2 Hours West of Fremont by boat or aircraft? Because that’s in the middle of the Pacific Ocean in international waters.

Castle Airfield is about 5 miles north of Merced in the Central Valley. It is about 2 hours drive **South East** if you leave Fremont at midnight. Otherwise it takes you 2 hours to get to Tracy, ~20 minutes cutting through Manteca (wave at Tesla Lathrop and the new Mega factory on your way through), then another ~60 minutes south on 99 to get to the airfield from there.

Sorry to be location pedantic, lived in the Central Valley way too long I guess.

Looks sort-of like a wiper blade shadow to me.

We’re naval gazing ok.

The camera angle, crappy quality, and the newer, curve shape on the hood/ window I think play havoc with perspective so it is really difficult to tell much of anything about the shape of the front. It does look shorter and steeper to me, but could be optical illusion.

After waffling back and forth about the size, I think the final conclusion was that they were going to shorten the CT a few percent to make sure it fits in most garages. It looks like they took those extra inches out of the front of the vehicle -- which would make sense in order to keep a full size bed/vault.

I think I see what you see. Maybe. It seems that they may have flattened the front some to get the overall length down. Makes sense. Good catch sir!

Yeah, I was wondering what the "pug nose" look was all about. Looks really lame smooshed up like that. Hoping it's the angle and/or what looks like some black film covering the frunk door.

Actually it looks like they extended the windshield down further which made the frunk smaller. Or it made the Frunk entrance smaller. Maybe they've changed visibility?

so you think the prototype should have everything that will be made to be installed before it is released? have you never seen a concept car? It’s an idea to be worked on through the manufacturing process that has much to do with government shit. Let’s just hope no one throws balls at our windows.
