If you could request three factory add-ons, what would they be?

Is that like a gear reduction?
It can be, it depends on the ratios used.
They are also called drop boxes.
The original kombi van had them as well as a Volvo van (308?) the military spec hummers had them too. Lots Of wheelchair accessible buses use them (upside down) to enable the bus to kneel to the curb.

The idea is to move the driveshaft higher (or lower) to change the ground clearance available without needing high angles on the drive shaft.

Solar.
Tail-Gate Stop: Preferred over mid-gate. I often have my kids when I pick up 4 x 8 plywood from HD or L's.
Tesla Transfer Switch for Home-Backup.

My recommendations in order of importance. The last one may not be a factory option, but more of a design recommendation.
- front charge port for easier charging while towing (include CCS connection in port for more high speed charging options)
- air lift kit option with up to 6” of lift.
- design truck for ease of accessory integration into electrical and software system that can be programmed by accessory installers (i.e. aftermarket bumper installation, wiring integration for accessories such as winches, lights, and two-way radios)

Old threads huh...
Well I'm already getting my top two: 4WS and quad plaid motors.

Now I can add:
1) Direct Solar input with plug and V2V, V2H and V2G
2) Midgate
3) Removable Full size Spare under rear bed

I'd also like, while I'm at it, in order of likelihood:
4) built in fridge
5) Fold down rear seats to bed and swivel front seat recliners
6) HUD with FLIR on FSD (for roos at night)
7) CTIS
8) Amphibious
9) Space X option that includes cold thrusters with hover function and off road "de-bog"

?

I still don’t quite get the love for a tail gate stop.

They would be nice, but its not something I’d pine over if it didn’t have it. Ratchet straps are cheap.

Friendly integration with home power backup would be A+.

1) that could be useful, my solar is 400+v at the DC side.

6) all wildlife here, including the occasional meth-head (big problem in my state)

1) The idea there was to add solar mats of foldout panels to charge in the bush off grid. But you could also have a solar carport at home or work to park under and charge from. 10kW or more would be nice.

6) Outside airbags is another option for lower impact speeds. Thats why wildlife FSD is required to detect ahead of normal vision and slow down pre-emptively.

lol. They try more often than you think and try to make it through the windscreen to do so...

Being nocturnal they are mostly a problem at night when visibility is poor. Hence the FLIR. Even normal camera sensors would see better than a human, but I'm hoping the new Samsung sensors don't have the IR filter as well. But vision augmented with FLIR, even on a screen for that matter just to get a half decent warning would help heaps. Also helps against driver fatigue, constantly having to concentrate on spotting them hiding in the bushes on the side of the road, because that is where the grass is greenest from the road rainwater runoff.

1. True cold weather comfort package. I write this in -40 temps in Regina. Add heated panels (arm rests) to a typical cold weather pack. Just like Mercedes, you know, the company you’re going to buy one day!

2. Trailer tow package as good as or superior to the competitors, see Ford and GM: trailer brake controller, 4 and 7 pin connectors, multiple cameras, wireless camera options inside a trailer as well as on the very back. Front and underside cameras for trails.

3. A truly useful, multi configurable bed for biz owners. A lot of ‘camping’ asks by others but I would like to be able to use it for work to haul 4x8 sheet goods, closed to the elements like the upcoming Silverado EV. Perhaps some bed dividers and lots of tie down attachment points.

No pining, just a preference (y)

MIdgate & stop would be most ideal (focusing on my own use and convenience)for me as a CT customer. Sure I can throw some straps on there, no biggie, but if I had an option not to I'd take that every time. Especially given it would be easier to cover.
Like I said, I often have the kids with me so the more space I have in the cab the better and am also out running errands. So it's not uncommon for me to take a stop to say at the grocery store after. Weather can also be an issue, and tarps are just not as convenient for me.
To each his own, its gonna be awesome and a giant upgrade from what I currently have so I won't be bent out of shape if it's not available.

1..Fold out solar panels to cover the entire truck like an awning, perfect for camping
2.. fold down rear seats for bed extension
3.. SpaceX package, which would include pressurized cabin. Air pressure boosters.

The SpaceX cold air boosters might be neat on the Roadster which will likely weigh less than half what the Cybertruck does…. But it’s going to take some monster air to move the truck significantly
