Consider this a window into your community as a whole.

I’m in Texas, but in the bluest of blue Travis County. Every time I jump in and review my Sentry footage, it’s nothing but people minding their business. Maybe that’s just “Texas Nice”.

Of course, here in Austin we’ve got one of the highest CT-per-capita ratios anywhere, so everyone is accustomed to seeing them.

Not to mention the best bbq in the world!

Happy to post something before this thread gets deleted for politics. Sorry the truck has become a veritable loser detector. I didn’t sign up for this either. I’ve almost been conditioned myself to flip off anything that looks cool and modern subconsciously. I started flipping off Frank Lloyd Wright houses and modern looking banks instinctively.

Irvine CA might give Austin TX a run for its money. Moved here from the Seattle area and it’s a night and day difference. Used to get middle fingers every day. Haven’t gotten one in months since moving. Anyone who hates cybertrucks here got repetitive stress injury and can’t use that finger anymore. It’s nice not living around unhinged people anymore.

I purchased my 2025 in September. I own a Porsche Carrerra and a high end BMW and my CT is by far my favorite vehicle. What I find challenging is the need by losers in democratic states to give the middle finger in a disgusting and vigorous fashion. I do not care unless my wife and young girls are in the CT to witness this perverse , They are offended and confused by this disgusting and perverse behavior. Is this common and is there anything we can do so stop this vile behavior by sick individuals? Suggestions? Thanks!! Zyborg

At a high-school a block from my kids(7yo & 8yo) Christian school I am constantly getting the finger.
Here is one instance i got on video in February:



Well this week we got a middle finger driving by the school again. By an orange haired individual no less!

Now, to be clear, THATS NOT A HAT!

Anyways, enough is enough sometimes really, so after I dropped my kids off at school I went back to the high-school to chat with the principle and show them the footage! A few days later they called me back and said they had an apology letter for me. I went and read it, it had the child's name on it so I couldn't take it but I asked for a photo in order to share with my children.

Thats it OP. Maybe it helps. Maybe not. But you're not alone

I live in the Bay Area and have experienced my share of fingers, shouts, confrontations, and scratches and, no, I don’t like it. I long for the days when people came up to me in wonder and waved from their cars. It is sad that people blame us for buying a great car simply because they are angry at a man.

This said, we all have to admit that Elon has said and done things that have hurt a lot of people and made a lot of people angry. I do not want to argue for or against any of those actions; only to acknowledge their impact. Even though he has been one less vocal in recent months people have very long memories when they are hurt or angry…

People everywhere, of all persuasions, follow their favorite people and media outlets, and swallow whole whatever bias those sources put out. It isn’t limited to any political point of view. The very fact that you so quickly label entire states tells me that you are one of those people. It would be better for the entire world for all of us to stop taking what our media sources, friends, etc. say as fact, and treat each other with more respect. Only then might we see this kind of behavior, and in fact many types of violence, dissipate.

To be fair, the OP said losers in democratic states. You made the equivalency between losers being democratic states. But I won’t argue that fact, as I believe your equivalence in some cases. And you didn’t follow your own advice by calling the OP a sheep.

@Zyborg - do what others have said and use it as a teaching lesson for your family of how to recognize hatered without cause. And by all means, be positive and kind even in negative situations, but that doesn’t mean you can’t dish it out either.

Thanks for discussing the student's behavior with school administrators. Given the length of the student's letter, good chance there was some introspection by the student and positive outcome.
