Ok! Done and uploaded the modified files. I added some ridges that fit between the roof glass and the trim and also altered the dimensions slightly to improve fitment. I don’t think it will fall out unintentionally. Hope this helps!

I could not edit the original files so here is the link to the new version in Makerworld

Thank you so much. I will reprint mine today. I appreciate it.

I think a fair price to print the clips would be $15 for the pair plus postage. I’d likely use those USPS priority boxes. I’ll make sure the prints are good but there’s no warranty. I’m not a business so you’ll have to trust me!

Awesome utility to allow secure visor clip above door window. I absolutely love the large windsheild unobstructed--unlike standard car windshields the CB gives a large view of the sky while driving, peace to the soul.

This visor clip alllows the visor to sit securely without the driving vibrations having it slip downward. Thanks to Sandman1962 for putting this together!

Thank you for uploading a new version! It looks like the stl is only available for one side though? Could you post the stl for the opposite side? Much appreciated!

The file actually has both the left and right side on one plate. If you really only have one side, you could just mirror the print along either the x or y axis and it should work for the other side.
let me know if I can be of more assistance

Completely different.

The X visor is intended to stay 'vertical' out of the way of the 'big sky' windshield so the side is the normal location.

The CT visor is intended to stay 'horizontal' like any regular cars (decades) visor.

I've driven an X for yours and appreciate that there is glass behind the CT visor so if it can be put to the side then you have more windshield openness feel.

I looked for possibilities to 3D print in my area and it turns out that the local library does that for free with a promise to finish in 30 days. They did it. Maybe there is something in your area, too.

Btw I have problems with the second generation: it is pretty hard to install, it just does not want to get into between the top glass and the trim piece. Maybe it's a change in a new generation (Cyberbeast with VIN 42xxx)?

Hi. The second gen is snugg, but once in it is quite secure. I was able to just push it in using a little bit of force. I don’t suggest using a lot of force - don’t want to damage anything. (Kind of like “do not overtighten the screw” - how do you know when you’ve overtightened until you’ve overtightened??) I might suggest a little automotive trim pry tool to aid in the install. Good luck my friend

Hi, all.

Non-3D printer guy here, so I decided to order a pair from Sandman who was generous enough to print and ship them to me (with some nice paper clipped instructions to make sure I installed them properly!).

They are snug. Driver side went right in, but I used a flathead screwdriver to gently pull the trim down on passenger side. But once they are in they are secure and solid.

The 3D print quality was perfect. Very robust and matched the color scheme of the interior very nicely. And Sandman is such an honest guy that when the price of the box dropped slightly, he actually sent me a Venmo for the 35 cent price difference. Completely unnecessary of course but speaks to his character.

I highly recommend these if you like the expansive window vibe (as a former Model X owner, I do!) and the 3D print model Sandman did is awesome!!! This is a quality add to the Cybertruck.

I sourced a magnet for the Model X sun visor in an effort to make it work with the Cybertruck visor to clip it to the side. The curved shape of the back of the magnet and the protruding screw holes doesn’t allow it to see flush with the interior trim piece when i would want to mount it. Going to try to see if i can cut it and maybe attach it to something in order to mount it.
