And yes, I was starting to picture some really medieval mechanical systems to make 4 wheel steering be mechanically linked and have the ability to disengage
The 1988 Honda Prelude had mechanical 4WS.

The 4WS in the 1988 Honda Prelude was all-mechanical; a shaft transmitted steering angle to a planetary gearbox, which then varied wheel toe-in or toe-cut via the rear tie rods based solely on the steering angle.

I want it. Do you think it will be standard or an option on the dual motor?
Probably cheaper to make it standard rather than have two drivetrain design/lines.

This is a different clip, same location.

Seems like a pretty significant turning radius improvement at slow speed. That’s a pretty tight donut for a big ass truck.
I was thinking the same thing. I am pretty impressed with those tight turns.
