Looks like this happened today in Maryland. Hope everyone is OK and it wasn't one of our members. Pretty brutal crash. It appears the large truck rear ended the CT but that hasn't been confirmed.

Cabin looks intact, no fire apparent. That's a bad one, heavy damage all around. Hopefully no one seriously hurt. Nightmare stuff there.

The cabin doors are impregnable. The tail just snapped off. No biggie.
Nowhere in the images can the rear of the Cybertruck be found.

Maybe he was on FSD, and it just kept going? 🤔

Wait, you mean the whole city didn't burn down in nuclear hellfire? I keep getting told EVs burst into flames randomly, even more so after an accident, that bring down a mini apocalypse on all those nearby.

In all seriousness, the people space looks to be in really good condition. Hope everyone walked away. It will be interesting to see how insurance deals with it if it had fsd purchased.

I would hope we can get some Sentry dash cam video, so that we can better discern who was possibly at fault.

There are a lot of spastic drivers in Maryland, Virginia, and New England states anyway, along with the problems we're having with many states handing out Commercial Driver Licenses to people unqualified.

I would want to see some Sentry video, as well as knowing circumstances with the driver of the truck, such as qualifications, hours driven, fatigue, etc. We may not find out any of this but one can still hope.

The condition of the cabin suggests hope that injuries were minimized for such a major accident impact. 🤞

Tiny images, but you can see in one of the videos, emergency personnel take away an injured Cybertruck driver. And from another video, you can see what appears to be the same person. Hope everyone is okay.

Is it totaled?
Not necessarily, it depend in general if the airbags get deployed,
because airbag deployment is a major cost factor.

The bed of the car is missing but the cabine seems undamaged,
except for one door. So seems repairable.

A car is only considered totaled when the cost to repair the damage
exceeds a specific percentage of the vehicle's pre-accident value.
Bro, the whole bed is sheared off. No one is going to repair that and put it back on the road. Maybe a DIYer will self repair and get a salvaged title.
