FYI, on what the air suspension on my legacy 2017 Model X looks like in end-user service mode.

I've gotten a transitory error msg a couple times that has gone away after an exit and drive later.

I have a friend with a legacy X who is getting their front suspension worked on this week as the front air suspension 'failed' and is riding low.

I think that-can be said about parts and services for all luxury cars out of warranty……….especially the every expense cars made. Ever watch the auto auctions of cars like, old Rolls Royces, and wonder why they often depreciate and sell so cheap out of warranty? Parts and repair costs.

Yes. My wife always asks why the older European cars are selling so cheap during televised auctions. I tell her parts and service costs will come back to haunt the new owners.

For CT, there gotta be an optimal height for the air suspension, in terms of durability, under different road conditions.

It'll be the level that the axle CV joints are at their straightest. Probably the lowest position, but it could be that the gear box has a slight cant to it so that the neutral point is somewhere in between the highest and lowest. The Cheetah Stance for the Plaid indicates this may be the case.
