Any Update on PowerShare Integration with Solar Panels?

Hi, Any update? Did yours work?

As far as I know I still have to manually switch over to the powersharing. The automatic shifting to and from powersharing was not working the last time I had the installer come check and of course I am not going to be able to get to the app before my generator turns on so I consider the powersharing to be nonfunctional.

I have solar but it's on the outside of the system. It would be shut off during an outage. I am adding more panels in a couple of weeks and the installers are supposed to be tesl certified so I'm going to ask them. My failover works flawlessly though.

Mine is all working now. So cool! The app isn't perfect - the home/solar numbers overlap and the "Charging stopped" alert doesn't go away when charging from solar, but the system is up!

Great to hear so you have a non- Tesla solar and a Tesla gateway. Could you explain how things are connected at the gateway and if there are any additional monitoring devices installed on your non-tesla inverter?

There's a 60A breaker in the gateway and the solar is wired to that. The solar is SolarEdge, and it has its own app via wifi, so the only monitoring gizmos are Tesla.

Cool. Have you tested going off-grid and does the solar keep producing while in island mode? Thanks that I'm hoping to accomplish I have a similar setup.
