No tire marks. The damage was on the drivers side while the pole “damage” would be on the passenger side. Etc, etc, etc.

A 6600 lbs truck would have fucked up that pole even just a bit.

Like I said before. You’re full of shit.
Yeah that pole doesn't fit 'the evidence'.

I don't have the time to read 9 pages. What was the final consensus here? Did OP ever post pics or is he another full-of-shit anti-EV/TSLA short?

Of course there is no stalk on the Cybertruck, but there has to be a way to shut the motors off, as in this case.

I found it, and it ‘is’ in the Cybertruck manual:

“If an alternative method is needed to bring the vehicle to a stop, press and hold the Park button on the touchscreen's drive mode strip to apply the brakes and remove drive torque while the button is held.”
yeah that's super easy to do in an emergency. reach for a specific spot on the touchscreen that's arm's length away from you.

That’s the pole I hit, 100%
Pretty wild the accusations from people you don't know, about a vehicle they do not have and a situation they have no knowledge of.

Three options at this point because pics clearly show a damaged vehicle.
1. Cybertruck had an issue that caused it to smash into a pole.
2. You had an issue and confused pedals
3. You somehow found pics of a damaged cybertruck at a Service Center and made this whole thing up

1. Taking you are your word, which I do, this sucks. Hopefully when this is proven you will get an apology but my guess is if that happens people will pivot and tell you that is "to be expected as an early owner"
2. Happens sometimes, if so a bummer but glad you are OK
3. This would be shameful and the heat you are getting is well deserved.
I think you could eliminate #3 discussion by posting dashcam vid or a screengrab pic of that pole getting smashed in dashcam

I hope you provide us with a resolution on this, starting with dashcam, no matter what the 3 above are.

The gear selection area is in the same place as the emergency flasher button, directly above the drivers head. But that isn’t the point I was trying to make. I was trying to say that Tesla doesn’t go out of its way to educate new drivers on emergency procedures for its cars - but should.

first pictures, now dashcam. What would dashcam show you guys? Him hitting the pole as he swerved to avoid a car? It won't tell you anything further than that.

It would not provide any more information, but there are a ton of people accusing that the whole thing is made up. Mostly coming from the same crowd that says 320 miles of range is actually better than 500 and were saying that only 1,000 FS trucks would be produced and every misstep by Tesla is fine and an early adopter issue.
Dashcam footage or a picture of it would put an end to that.
