I'm not actually taking a position one way or the other on this. I'm just wondering why people are asking for pics when those skeptical will likely remain skeptical anyway.
Because the forum is full of trolls that have already ruined other Tesla forums ... paid actors to post fud whenever possible ... they only need to suggest something happened for everybody to believe it and turn up as results in a search engine. Clearly, the current US admin dislikes Tesla ... or more to the point ... Tesla isn't lining any pockets so the lobbyists are practicing some internet gorilla warfare.

Lot of tinfoil hat investors on the forum
Pretty serious situation if he had a total brake failure. With that level of safety concerns many would like it validated understandably.

But this doesn't address the point that I made. I'm asserting that people asking for evidence will not be satisfied by seeing pictures of the aftermath. That doesn't prove that the brakes were use and didn't function. It only proves that there was damage.

Everything was spectacular i enjoy the vehicle and im glad i am not injured in any way. (airbags did not deploy) definitely have whiplash.

again i can only explain it as brake malfunction and how it happened, there was no warning signs , nothing, didnt decelerate fast enough, and brakes didnt engage fast enough, there was a delay,

Accidents suck, and I'm glad the OP is OK. It's good the airbags did not deploy, since that means the collision was not too severe. Airbag deployment usually indicates the vehicle is totaled.

However, I remain very skeptical that this was 100% mechanical failure and 0% pilot error. There are multiple redundancies in place for the traction motors and the brake systems. The brakes are boosted hydraulics, so even a complete systems failure would not prevent braking, although it would be unexpectedly heavy. (You can enable "Controls > Dynamics > Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking is Limited", I don't think it's on by default?)

At the very least, one should never enter a turn at a speed that requires braking. You either maintain speed or accelerate through a turn, if you need to brake then you were going too fast.

I've been driving very, very carefully because I've yet to acclimate to the feel of this behemoth. Even an experienced driver is more prone to mistakes in an unfamiliar vehicle, and I don't want to end up like the Beverly Hills sign guy lol

Exactly ... Since the vehicles don't even have brake by wire ... so a report of a total brake failure is sketchy at best ... this is tried and true technology.

Oh I agree, it is very serious. I was commenting on all these posts discrediting the poster immediately
