So there are a lot of articles comparing wiper effectiveness out there? This is something you commonly see? “Who has the best wiper coverage?”

“The Great Pickup Truck Wipe-down?”

Literally never seen an article on wipers before Cybertruck in my life. And it’s not even released.
Do you know another vehicle that has its wiper named BAW?

There is nothing that indicates the BAW does anything other than what any other wiper on the planet does.

This isn’t even the first “Big Single Wiper” made.

Tesla launches a bad-ass truck. And people whine about the wiper. THE WIPER.

Please…. If you are this hung up, just move on. Rivian has very nice pretty wipers, they are the best wipers. I’ve been told they make a nice “Swooshing” sound as well. They are programmed with Genuine People Personalities and Swoosh with a genuine sense of satisfaction of a job well done.

Business Insider, the premier wiper review journal of the 21st century rated the Rivian wiper with an 11 on a scale of 1-10.

The…. Wiper…. ?

Dude, I literally coined the term.

And lots of trucks and busses have one, big wiper.

The problem with this article is that it forgets the windshield of the Cybertruck is a giant square. All that's behind that corner is the sun visor.

First BAW on forum, https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/cybertruckk-windshield-wiper.4667/post-87301

Tho... Apparently Ogre did call it the non-shortened term first: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...-mirrors-curved-windshield-glass-dec-10.4283/

From now on, everyone needs to start paying Crissa a nickel every time you mention "BAW" :)

Crissa, you are going to be rich in no time!

It's a pretty ridiculous article. They knew what they were doing.

That said, it's business insider so most of their articles are ridiculous.

Ogre and Crissa are both claiming they coined BAW. who do i send the nickle to?

?
Oh boy, looks like we have a conflict. Maybe we should create a poll to find out who royalties go to?

Yup, for most of the 100 years they did not worry about the aerodynamic drag because gas was cheap and their priority was keeping manufacturing cost down for increased profits no matter how many people were adversely affected by the pollution their vehicles emitted.

This thinking is exactly why GM killed the EV1 in year 2002 and delayed EVs adoption for almost 20 years.
