Notice that your cant rails arent quite lining up at the back? Had the recall done? Make sure you check that the SC (or factory) installed the nuts on the rear studs. Mine didnt.

The left rear was missing on mine. Shortly noticed after I got the truck. Placed a nut and she lined up nicely.

Ill try but The forum wont let me upload photos recently for some reason. Easiest way is to lift the roof appliqué

So all you do is lift the appliqué? And you can adjust that last bolt? I think mine are over tightened after the recall…

thanks, i was missimformed by the service center, i was told that only one nut was in the front by the lower windsheild, how may nuts are on the actual cantrail?

based on the link above, Tesla Manual
looks like 8 screws on each cantrail


  1. Remove the LH C-pillar applique. See Applique - C-Pillar - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the screws (x8) that attach the LH cantrail to the vehicle.

    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)
    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

The SB calls for 4 nuts, 2 for each rail, one front one rear
