Does any one know if the USB-A port in the glovebox allow for music files, loaded from USB drives flash drives, in any music format.? For example does it read high Res FLAC or ALAC files or is it restricted to the inferior MP3 format? Sure hope Elon allows for AirPlay support in the near future. Seems like a waste to restrict the audio system to lossy music formats or Bluetooth.

I have a 2018 Model 3 and play CD quality FLAC (I haven't tried ultra HD FLAC) off a USB stick.

Does any one know if the USB-A port in the glovebox allow for music files,
Note it says "front USB port". Have not heard of anyone getting it to work yet.

Page 161

Playing Media from Devices
USB Flash Drives
Insert a flash drive into a front USB port (see USB-C
Ports on page 19). Touch Media Player > USB, then touch
the name of the desired folder. To play media from a
USB connection, Cybertruck recognizes flash drives only.

To play media from other types of devices (such as an
iPod), you must connect the device using Bluetooth (see
Bluetooth Connected Devices on page 161).

NOTE: Media Player supports USB flash drives with
exFAT formatting (NTFS is not currently supported).

NOTE: Use a USB port located at the front of the center
console. The USB connections at the rear of the console
are for charging only.

File system partition format list should also include ext4 (tested on a 2023 MY). Have a larger stick coming from Temu, will try btrfs next just for kicks (as support for that is baked into most implementations of the Linux kernel anyway)
