I'd be surprised - happy, but surprised - if Tesla was producing 50 Cybertrucks a day this early in the ramp.

I'll also note that social media in general, and YouTube in particular, has everybody and their brother pushing out Cybertruck "content" right now. Not because they know anything, or have any fresh intel to share. But, ya know... clicks. Cybertruck signal-to-noise ratio is pretty damn awful right now.

Just sayin...

I call BS. 250 trucks per week is highly unlikely at this early stage of manufacturing.

Based on drone footage, it's tough to tell as drone footage is a short period of time a few times a week, and it appears CTs are being hauled away immediately to different locations.

I bet as of time of this message, they are producing at least 50 per day.

We shall see soon based on how many regular folks start taking delivery.

I would say people should think about this differently

It’s not exactly that it would be unlikely at this early stage.

it’s more exactly that at this early stage even if Tesla strings together a week or two of 250/wk it’s not something to quite hang your hat on

at this stage in ramp, things can be and generally are choppy. You might do 250/week a few weeks, then for various reasons expected or unexpected slow to a crawl for a few weeks

think about it like training to be an ultra-marathon runner

early in training they may be doing an occasional marathon

but it takes more training before a human can start running back-to-back marathons 2, 3, 4, days in a row, etc.

and that’s the plan, not a problem

Agreed
I think it is possible they are producing 50 castings, or 50 windshields but not 50 finished trucks a day. That would get close to the 20,000 truck estimates that have been thrown out there for 2024 but don't think they are at 50day yet.

If they were making 50 a day, don't you think that they would need 50 VINs/day.

They don't seem to be getting that many yet.

It‘s been a whopping 45 days or so from the delivery day event. Tesla is still in ramp up mode for the Cybertruck.

250 trucks per week? No way is the SS door manufacturing shop popping out 1,000 doors a week for the Cybertruck this early.

Based on the VIN #s it is closer to 10 CTs a day being produced, max.
Crazy early in the ramp phase so essentially no trucks being produced in the big picture if 240k is the goal run rate for the year.
