That's nonsense.Or maybe Tesla lowers the price of an AWD CT by just $2,500 on October 1, which would only partially offset the loss of the tax credit. In this scenario, the effective price of an AWD CT would rise by $5,000, and presumably demand would fall. But Tesla's profit on each CT sale would be higher.
You don't know what your talking about. If Tesla lowers the price by $2500 with the expiration of the tax credit, their profit would be lower, not higher.
