I would imagine Austin has enough gen 2 4680 battery pack's accumulated to start trickling out a few dozen CT's a day till years end. By the time the cathode factory starts producing, working out the kinks and the CT line becomes a finely tuned machine then we could see some numbers starting in early 2024. The end of line quality control building looks to be on pace for completion maybe at the end of October.

that’s not to say the event inst In ~4 weeks, only to say that the existence of this gear isn’t the bases for deducing that

well.. it did blow up last time so its a reasonable assumption imo

I guarantee you, when you're driving a cybertruck, you'll have no problem getting a date. Add a puppy in the cab and the ladies will need to take a number.

Even if the delivery event is tomorrow, then we have to go tru the dreadful wait. I’m like number 4XX in line day 1 reservation holder in Houston but I wouldn’t be surprised to see people that reserve the day of the cybertruck event get their trucks sooner. Happen with the plaid if I’m not mistaken

is it "Elon soon", like FSD?
I mean based on what I read in the book I understand that when Elon said end of Q3 2023 everyone in Tesla said "no chance in hell we can do that!" and I guess there is some version of production hell at Giga TX right now on battery line and CT assembly line..
So again, end of Q3 2023 was super aggressive/unrealistic even for space/time warping Elon standards, but hopefully it's gonna happen by end of 2023.
