May be a dumb question: could anyone find where in owners manual it says what maximum charge you should use for daily (i.e. not road trip) driving? It says battery health is better when battery doesnt go below 20% but it does not mention if daily charge of 80 or 90 or 100% is best that I could find. Did I miss something? Are we assuming 80 to 90% is best for daily driving?
There's no risk to battery health by reaching low SoC, even down to 0%. Lithium cells are happiest when stored at low SoC, and degradation increases with charge level.

However, there's a significant increase in rate of degradation above 55% and most dramatic above 90-95% (particularly for the nickel-based cells used in Cybertruck).

For best health, try to keep your daily cycles in the middle of the range. If you need the extra range, charge to 100% and depart immediately.

That said, the BMS will protect you. Even under the harshest conditions, it would be difficult to reach the 30% degradation within the 8-year warranty period. Drive and enjoy!

I have never seen an owner's manual with samples of normal sounds that your vehicle can make. It was actually informative. As a retired aircraft mechanic, I love all the maintenance manuals.
Fellow aircraft mechanic here and I totally agree.

This is specific to Tesla; other Lithium cells (or implementations) may set 0% at a different point. For instance, the NMC cells in my Zero don't want to sit around below 30%, and if left for days below 10% could do damage to them.
