That would be something. Ford is clearly shitting their pants by reducing the price of the Lightning, even though they’re losing money either way.

Naw, Ford's sales were already tanking from the price increases.

Tesla lowered their prices early because they could. Ford lowered their prices because they had to.

Both are doing the same thing: Trying to keep demand equal to their supply.

Why lower your prices unless your vehicles weren’t selling or a competitor was about to release a new product? I think the whole EV market is slowing down outside of Tesla for various reasons.

No one is skipping buying a Lightning now, for the Cybertruck later, who wasn't already skipping a Lightning now, for the Cybertruck later. That ship sailed last year.
