Ok, I'll state the obvious...

If your family was in a rollover accident, and you saw a CT that looked that good, you'd think it looks beautiful. Shattered glass and all.

Why looks good and bad is strictly situational.

Basically, you are confused But understandably so. The difference was never as big as what your GIF shows. Small differences in camera angle and focal length can be misleading with the RC version and the more curved front. It’s probably a little bit shorter, but it’s really not far off the look of the original prototype.

As an example, stare at that 2nd row door.
It sure looks like It is way different IMO.
Square vs rectangular. ie. less wide (part of the shorter?)
Compare it to the front door by staring at it.
Hope that helps one explain one of the things my minds eye is seeing.

Oh I get it. I’ve seen this GIF before. But it is exaggerating things. The difference isn’t as big as it makes it appear. Just look at some videos, there is still the pronounced nose there, which kind of disappears in this picture. It’s just a bit rounder.

The RC versions are shorter than the original prototype, so I’m not saying there aren’t differences, but Tesla’s production version is much closer to concept in comparison to what most other manufacturers do.

Beautiful pictures, with fit and finish tight for the most part.

Only thing I strongly noticed, was the gaps between fenders and frunk lid were wider than the others. It could be the frunk lid alignment is adjusted high up in the back were the hinges are and maybe the latch too, as it's hard to tell. To me this is noticeable in the sixth picture of the original post (re-pasted here):

Seems like it would have tighter gaps if the whole frunk lid were either lower between the fenders (and/or possibly the fenders themselves need adjusting inward slightly maybe, if possible).

Overall it's really starting to look very sharp.
