The CyberTruck tailgate will be the least 'technology bandwagon" tailgate in the industry. Not just no ramp, it also has:
no step
no handrail
no flip stop
no speakers
no lights
no barn door
heck, it doesn't even have a measuring guide or cup holder ?

These other big guys know how to make a tailgate!!

They did nothing interesting with the tailgate. Makes me pray for the success of Canoo, those guys know how to design a first principles tailgate.

I love the Canoo pickup, but I think that awesome utility video that they did was all CGI. Now they’re pivoting to a military-esque version called the bulldog. It’s like they don’t know what to make and they’re more than likely running out of money.

I hope Aptera gets off the ground. I enjoy seeing the creative variety of EV mobility. This is only the beginning!

I have'nt seen any information or video's on the tailgate fold out Ramp. Is it still there ? Can someone post a video of one on a delivered Cybertruck ?

I think Sandy Munro speculated that they removed it because of the weight, cost, and complexity.

You need to keep in mind the Tesla philosophy: the best part is no part.

Adding numerous features to keep up with the Big 3 “tailgate wars” simply adds part numbers, complexity, cost, etc.
