What about the alcantara dash (visible in the video) that is only on Cyberbeasts? Genuine question. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

incorrect, and misinformation spouted as expert

Tesla builds cyberbeasts without the engraving. In fact, every one built after FS series will be builtwithout the Cerberus engraving.

if you know what to look for, itā€™s a cyberbeast

including (ahem) that the truck has ā€˜beast modeā€™/UI **

(**Tesla is *not* giving Throttle House, of all outfits, a vehicle purporting to be a beast but without the performance of a beast)

To say nothing of the bizarre suggestion that a 911 S, with an ~11.3 second 1/4, would come in only a flash before a CTAWD with a ~2 sec slower 1/4

meanwhile, what folks really arenā€™t talking about in this thread: didnā€™t Tesla suggest the Beast has a sub-11 sec 1/4? That would have it bearing even this 911

You are incorrect.

The proof starts at 8:20 and runs for a couple of minutes as the CT has its firmware updated:

There's literally no reason why Tesla would do that. All that would do is make their fastest model look worse and it would give them 0 benefit

They used the same Cyberbeast from their other video for this race and they got a sub 3 second 0-60 in that one, so it's definitely a Cyberbeast.

Being slower than a Turbo S is nothing to be ashamed of, those cars are fast as...
Proof starts at 8:20 and runs for a couple of minutes. CT was improperly configured, which is why Tesla did that. People make mistakes, and this one was rectified via a firmware update.

That video says they're driving a Cyberbeast but with non-Cyberbeast firmware? They're updating it to the proper Cyberbeast firmware.

He said it's a Tesla pre-production test vehicle with the incorrect firmware being updated.

But this being a test vehicle, itā€™s still got the old firmware old on. Which isnā€™t right for the Cyberbeast version that this actually is. So theyā€™re putting the proper Cyberbeast firmware on.
Maybe I'm not understanding your point. But your original post in this thread was suggesting the Throttle House video used an AWD platform but improper Cyberbeast firmware. The Carwow video says they're in a Cyberbeast with Cyberbeast firmware (post-update).

The point is if the vehicle lacks any of the proper hardware and/or firmware designating it a Cyberbeast and is speed limited at 112 mph, then it is not a Cyberbeast, and certainly not a production version Cyberbeast.

Not sure why people here are arguing to the contrary. If you ordered a Cyberbeast, would you expect to receive a pre-production test vehicle speed limited at 112 mph, or would you expect to receive what you paid for, which is a production version Cyberbeast with a top speed of 130 mph and correct hardware (vehicle build) and firmware to support it?

The Throttle House video disingenuously suggested they were racing a production version Cyberbeast, and made no mention of it being speed limited even though we can all hear the alarms going off as they hit the speed limiter at the finish line. šŸ˜¹šŸ˜¹šŸ˜¹

I don't think anyone here is trying to argue for the sake of arguing. However, you've made a few disjointed points that didn't align and have been steadfast in your assertion that Throttle House used an AWD.

Your original post here was suggesting the Throttle House video was using an AWD. Not that they had a Cyberbeast platform but with incorrect firmware. There's no way you could know if they had an AWD or Cyberbeast simply based off the video. The missing Cerberus doesn't confirm your stance. Plenty of other Cyberbeast videos are missing it, including the famous Jason Camissa video (note: same license plate as in the Throttle House video, too). The only physical clue actually points toward Throttle House having a Cyberbeast ā€” the alcantara dash.

No sense in going back and forth about what firmware Throttle House was using, no one here could ever say for certain. Would be great to have the 1/4 mile time and trap speed that Throttle House got (read: this could show if TH ran into the speed limiter).

Actually, you are arguing for the sake of arguing. Throttle House tricked you, not me.
You win, have a nice day.

The truck in this video is a ā€˜Beast. I know the exact VIN. It doesnā€™t have the Cerberus on the tailgate because itā€™s a pre-production truck. Pre-Foundation Series.

the 992 Turbo S is just a faster vehicle. Consistently running low 10 second quarter miles vs 10.8-10.9 for the Cyberbeast.

Test vehicle that was running CT AWD firmware producing 600hp and top speed of 112mph, until it was updated to the correct configuration producing 845hp and top speed of 130mph.

thereā€™s no tricking going on

thereā€™s you being very confused
I'm not confused, the people racing the vehicles were confused purporting to be racing a configuration that they were not.

CT AWD 600hp top speed 112mph
Cyberbeast 845hp top speed 130mph

Regarding your previous claim that Cerberus will not be engraved on Cyberbeasts after Foundation Series, what is your source? Tesla does not remove Plaid badging from its vehicles after the initial run, so why would Tesla remove Cerberus (CT's Plaid equivalent) from the Cyberbeast?
