Then we will fundamentally disagree on this point. There’s no connection between illegal insider trading which should be outlawed (stopped by McConnell iirc) and what we’re seeing here. Either as a justification or solution.

Again, I don’t do this party shit. Republicans are certainly no angels and are have NEVER in power been fiscally responsible.

This government is the enemy bullshit is also bullshit. The US government is US citizens working. Never been anything different than that. The slogans, the bumper stickers, the bathtub drownings - total bullshit.

This is getting too political though. Time to refocus.

I think the topic, if I recall, was that “the cybertruck would be the last stainless steel Tesla!” 😂🤣😂🤣

I’m just gonna say “probably”, and then refrain from other discussion that’s outside of that!

Yes, @REM I agree with you. The cybertruck is probably going to be the last stainless steel vehicle that Tesla makes. I do think the technology will trickle into all future design designs though in various ways.

my heart goes out to you" *pantomimes grabbing heart, and throwing it to the crowd*
Yet there is an older video of Elon "giving his heart" using a completely different gesture, making a heart symbol with both hands over his heart, which cannot be misinterpreted. This time he purposely used the "salute" and pretended he was "giving his heart". Ever hear the phrase "don't pee on my back and claim that it's raining"?

I don’t know about you guys, but the only “SS” I’m interested in discussing is … good old stainless steel!

I think it's been settles on the doors being the only part of the truck that acts like an exoskeleton. Everything else is just cladding on the castings.
Nope, the rear sail panels are integral to the structural rigidity/load carrying capacity of the Cybertruck, and we have that on good authority.

Namely the lead engineer on the Cybertruck Team.

Why won't these myths just die?

purposefully, oh? You are inside his head and know his intentions? nice! who else can we imbue our own blatantly out of context interpretations on? While you're in there, tell me when the next starship launch will be.

Since he made a different gesture last time, we need to hold him to only one type of gesture per intention. 👍

Ridiculous in the highest order.

You won't, because you can't.
I disagree. Our government has been overlording tyrants to us for so many decades, that nearly 100% of congress are blatantly committing insider trading right in front of our face. Imagine what else we aren't seeing.

I say give the DOGE team full, unfettered access and let's allow the public to see what they have been doing behind closed doors. Open it all up. No secretes are too damning. Have you even taken a look at what they have found already? USAID has been rubber stamping billions for years. A good chunk of it to literal terrorist organizations.

And I don't want to hear about "nAtIoNaL sEcUrIty" either.
If by "rubberstamping" you mean administering what Congress has told it what and how to spend, that's called doing its job. The Supreme Court has been ruling on Republican brought cases that Congress has attempted to delegate too much such discretion and authority to the Executive Branch. Now of course they want it 100% the opposite, but who is surprised?

utter nonsense. I'm tired of people lying about the event.
Then he did it TOTALLY WRONG. Needs to learn from Taylor Swift, she throws kisses and wiggles her fingers. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: 😘

Nothing to disagree with there, but it can be comparable to saying F-150, not at all constraining. There's not much utility to justify the added costs and complexities in other classes of vehicles.

Those overly imaginative people who think that gesture was a dog whistle to white supremisists need to watch this:

Avoid awkward hand gestures with THIS

Three new products (including a drink, a drug and a hardware device) to prevent Nazi misunderstandings.

You post this and lie about the event.

He did 2 gestures before saying anything about his heart going out to people. Context is important.

This is why nothing can be trusted...we have one group of idiots assigning intent and another group of idiots saying others are lying while lying.

It was an idiotic move and it's been exacerbated by all parties; left, right, Elon himself which has made it a massively polarizing event. Tying to warp or change the narrative doesn't undo the perception of what happened.

It was a terribly idiotic gesture that most sane people would know better about. Elon chalked it up to Austism (then made fun of it). So it's not absolutely a nazi salute and it's not nothing...but don't be part of the problem.

I totally agree with this; and you know what? I just can’t say enough nice things about stainless steel! What a remarkable, versatile material!!

I was hoping that Tesla would develop a cyber-roadster using the same material.

Something like this render is what I would like to see. Though not this exact design. There are better ones out there but I couldn’t locate them for this post.

Tesla Cybertruck Cybertruck will be the last Tesla to use stainless steel exoskeleton IMG_3139

I also think this one is a pretty cool concept. More of the SUV type that people have been talking about.

Tesla Cybertruck Cybertruck will be the last Tesla to use stainless steel exoskeleton IMG_3138

This last one is real and was fabricated out of an M3.

Tesla Cybertruck Cybertruck will be the last Tesla to use stainless steel exoskeleton IMG_3140

So, I hope they will consider utilizing it again and future designs if it makes sense.

[Are they still looking? 👀 ]

This entire event can be avoided if people commit to being less fragile emotionally. We need to stop the whole "outrage porn" addiction that is plaguing the planet.

Elon clearly didn't get on a f***** stage in front of an international audience and throw up a hot Roman. To even try to make this a thing is patently absurd.
