There's nothing wrong with being different, we were never meant to all be the same. I'm happy to be special and unique, I even have my own fingerprints to prove it, which I leave on everything I do. I don't need to belong to a race or creed. I don't have a problem with other people doing the same...until that point others force me to be their kind of different, and more different than I already am.

Interesting. Noting that Alabama is still one of the states that is harsh toward Tesla banning direct sales, yet Outukumpu (HQ in Finland I think) is able to increase jobs in Alabama because of Tesla.

That's a lack of appreciation if Alabama doesn't ease up on government meddling in free markets, but I had also said that about Texas a couple years back, considering the jobs Tesla and Starbase bring to the state.

I kind of 'poisoned my own post' with this tangent which I intended to be only a light-hearted jab. I think EW drew extra attention with the DNA test when she could've just brushed off all the buzz and reminded everyone that more importantly she's 'human' and to deal with it. I believe that's why many have found all the brouhaha to be a source of humor.

But I really had wanted the focus of that post to be more about Alabama and Texas allowing themselves to get entangled with corporations enacting (free-market oppressing) dealer franchise laws which ban direct sales. I kind of ruined that line of discussion though with that last paragraph, so of course that's my fault.
