Tis nothing but a flesh wound.

We tested the limits of Tesla's “Armor Glass” with EVERYTHING from ping-pong balls to MASSIVE steel balls to see if the production version is any better than the prototype revealed almost 5 years ago 🪩 💥 📐 Context: In 2019 Franz threw a ~2” steel ball bearing at Tesla’s prototype Cybertruck and we couldn’t get the production Cybertruck glass to break until our fourth throw of a 3” steel ball bearing. Because of science, that could easily be as much as 3.5x the force.

SAD! Just take the NOV 23 baseball test as fact. Because there are those who would love to be able to just drive a CT!
Unfortunately, there are those who have took delivery and just deface it and test it to the limits of failure. Again SAD!

If you watched the video, they made a service appointment for that day and made sure they had the replacement glass in stock. The truck was perfect again a few hours later!

I personally am glad they did it.

This is a great test of both the glass strength and the Service Center replacement process and speed.

Elon did say they would make the glass better... But on this forum I had read somewhere it was not the same glass as was originally specified.

Well $20k more for single and duel and $30k for Beast the glass must be outstanding compared to 2019 glass prices?! 😂 time will tell as more hit the road.

Speaking of clicks, I just so happen to click this ad on CT Owners and it doesn’t even go to advertised site? It went to some mobile home park in Arkansas?! What the? Guess if they are paying the bills it doesn’t matter where the “click” goes?! lol!
