With all these sightings why has nobody measured one? Obviously, a tape measure is somewhat conspicuous, but you can quickly use one of those AR measuring apps built into phones.
When Bigfoot appears, who would have the presence of mind to break out a chicken ? All you are thinking is the camera.

‘Just wanted to make it clear, this is not panel gap. This is just hood not closing properly. But I agree with you. I don’t expect to see it in production.

Agreed. That hood is at best misaligned, damaged (tweaked/ twisted), or out of spec when the part was made.
It looks hiked up on the driver's side.

Separately, I wonder if the CT frunk hood will have those adjustable rubber bumpers like I see on many vehicles? Do other Teslas have them?

So much gap talk on Teslas.
anyone ever look at a $250K+ G wagon gaps?
Huge! But air tight. You can see the interior door latch mechanism through the gaps.
recognized as one of the most satisfying robust door closings in the industry

As long as the glass roof doesn’t fly off and the gap is consistent I’m good ?

I have no clue. Anything you can adjust, you can screw up. So I would not be surprised if Tesla is searching for a manufacturing technique that gives the hood placement only one option. We will see.

I think it is just that the frunk was unlatched. I expect there is literally no defect of any sort on this. It is just that the guy "popped the hood" as per normal on any Tesla frunk.

The mode 3 has them. I have adjusted the frunk hood on mine before.

From a Gregger RT

And bonus shots from a spotting today in Arizona. Boy are people gonna need dark sunglasses when around the Cybertruck in full sun! ? And these are even dirty from transport!

Those high bed sides are going to be a problem. The Honda Ridgeline was like that. Honda figured it out and changed it.
you can’t conveniently reach in from the side to unload anything from the bed

This, folks, is what happens when you try to stuff too many bodies in the frunk.

In other words, if you wanna Whack someone in Rome, CT would be clear choice. If the unfortunate man who didn’t pay the protection money is a cheeseburger junky American, you gotta take a Lightning.

That makes me think Silverado knew who their target audience was with their ad music choice;

My laser tape didn't like measuring off the reflective surfaces of the CT when I tried it. Even after fidling with the emissivity settings it would fluctuate 2-3". On a wall it's 2-3mm off in comparison. You also need to bounce it of something flat. A tape measure would be better.

I bet we don't just polish that out, will have a permanent indent I bet.
I still say it's dirt. You'd need machining tools to dent/gouge 3mm steel.
