Sounds like motor. IIRC the arm had a revision back in spring time.

Truth is a lot of parts get revisions, no one ever knows. There's version A from November.. then bsdefg comes along. Tesla just trying to catch the trucks they can to keep them out of service.

Same here. Disappointed. Been a rollercoaster of a week. I called last week to understand when my order changed tactical grey decor to white without my decision. I somehow by the grace of God get a person to actually answer the phone at the Raleigh SC. He doesn't tell me why the decor swapped but does schedule me for Sunday at 2pm. During the week I get texts that the truck is on site and can be picked up earlier but no option to schedule to do so via text or app. After many calls to a full voicemail I decided to go to the SC in person. I get lucky and tomorrow is the scheduled date. An hour ago I get a text (no call) it's delayed until the 21st with no details whatsoever. Bummer....

I’ve had my delivery date pushed 4 times now. Apparently it was delivered to the wrong sales center by the transporter, then when it arrived they found out the bed rail trim piece flew off in transit. Then they pushed me another week because the part wasn’t in. Now they just pushed me back 3 days because of the wiper issue. My current schedule delivery date is 6/20, and my original was 5/30. Frustrating
Exactly same situation in Bay Area

The worst part was the first time they called the night before. The second time was the morning before. I’m 3 hours away, I have to line up babysitting and a car service to take me there. All my friends think it’s vaporware.
Feel bad for you!! Let’s be patient.

Don't take this wrong because I do feel your pain but I am relieved it's not just me and I'm not about to get some cursed lemon....lol

Would be nice if at very least their texts could contain a tad more details since contacting Tesla is like texting an uncontacted Amazon tribe. I'd take a mere five more words on some of these texts.

Kids slept early with excitement. And then this morning I get notified that appointment is cancelled and pushed out till next week. Kids and I are really disappointed now and eating junk food just to compensate ?

Well in Bay Area our SC is 20mins away so I just drove up there with kids. The guy was really good and apologized and mentioned that they are ordering parts from Austin which should arrive next week.

When you call, press 1 for vehicles, 1 for deliveries, wait for voice prompt, say delivery, press 1, press 2. That’s how I’ve been able to ring the phone for the delivery team at my SC. They answer maybe 1 out of every 8 calls or so. But keep trying and you can get someone on the phone eventually

I have a monday lunch time pick up and I haven't heard of a delay yet. I texted them to ask but haven't heard back. They messaged me this am to say it was ready early if I wanted, but I'm not sure if I can make it. The app still lets me reschedule and pick times tomorrow or Sunday. VIN is 169xx if that matters.

I would have had a 14xxx VIN at the end of May but i was out of town and they wouldn't hold it ~2 weeks.

Does the last five in the VIN tell how many produced? Is that confirmed? So for example if you have 15777 in last five of VIN you have the 15,777th CT of your variant and model year made?

I think that’s the going theory, not sure it’s 100% but likely true.
My new number was assigned on Monday the 10th around 4am Texas time.

Feel the pain. I was scheduled for 5/5 then they went to clean and had service alerts on the screen. Went into service and waited for parts for 3 weeks and then finally got it on 5/30……may was the longest month ever in my life ?

I am also in the VIN 169xx range, did they say if your truck had the windshield wiper motor hold as well? Wondering if it's affecting earlier VINS and not new ones. My ETA is 1-2 weeks, CA Bay Area

The good news is it is only a 20 minute fix according to the service manual. I’m also hoping this can be done with their mobile fleet to those owners in that service area.
