how do u remove the rear tonneau cover i got i pry tool in there and i cant get it to remove ?
This is just helpful advice, but please take a look at other possible options, since I am not an expert. :) Google search is your friend, the right tools, and patience will help.

I used this YouTube video to help me:

Yours might be different, since there has been documented changes in design on this part.

Thanks for all of this Macrow69. I plan to attempt this either later this week or next weekend. I bought everything, just waiting for one of the parts. And for it not to be almost 100 degrees outside. If I interpret everything correctly you start with the camera and work your way back to the mirror. How hard is it to transition into the cabin. Is it more obvious when you take off the tonneau cover?

So I tried and tried today to get from the back into the cabin. I just could not get the head of the wire to fit. I tried both ways from inside to out (skinnier attachment to the wire) and from outside to in . I just could not get through ... it was very close and I forced it the first time and broke the connector. I had a second wire and tried that and it just won't get through. It needs like another half mm space to get through. I guess my truck was built a little tighter at least on that side.

Kind of bummed. Spent an entire afternoon trying to get this to work. Good news is I sweated out like 5 pounds.

My recommendation = Don't do it this way! I did and I feel like a fool for taking all those risks that the video doesn't show. I used panel tools and still ending snapping the back window trim piece in half. Plus one of clips fell to who knows where. The broken panel is very visible after piecing together so I'm waiting to here from SC on cost for new one. Then trying to snake behind that back door panel was sketchy as hell which isn't actually shown in video. I eventually got the hanger wire through however the camera cable didn't survive. The plug/end got hung up and broke off behind the panel. I was very lucky and was able to see it enough to grab with a needle nose. Then had to do a very sketchy solder job with what was left just to get it to work. Would have have been better off cutting the cable at the start so there would be enough to work with afterwards. Waiting to here from manufacturer on availability of replacement plug section. I have a concern there may now be water leaks into bed now too. This entire mess absolutely wasn't worth it! Had the video actually showed doing the entire process, I would have never even tried.

Sorry to hear that . This was not a step by step guide. Just a summary of how I did it. I was just trying to to help out. I going to take the video down. I don't want people pissed at me for trying to help.

I have removed the video. Sorry for any hassle this caused

? Don't do that because of me. I think what you did and shared was incredibly helpful and I am sure others have used your information with success. I think my case was just that the pass through area was about a millimeter too tight. That's not your fault at all.

I wrapped the connector in electrical tape and then to the coat hanger I had no issues getting any of the things they're not broke nothing or would have never posted that video
