I get that the Cybertruck is fast and such but what I do not understand being a older guy is why is being so fast in 1/8 or 1/4 mile such a big deal to some. I have a Ford Mavrick Hybrid that I got in Mar 24 and love it. The price was great (under 30K) and the MPG is in the 49-50 range and has more bells and whistles than I need. Of course my Mavrick and me would be left in the dust at any race type track. But I do not have enough fingers and toes to count how many times a Cybertruck or Telsa EV has passed me on the general roadway just for me to catch up to them at the next red light. I am in Austin, TX and the Gigafactory is about 35 miles from me so I do see a fair share of CT's on the road here. Just never understood why zoom off a red light just to have to stop at the next light as it goes red. Again call me a Grampa driver but I am proud of never a ticket or accident (even minor) in my 45+ years of driving. I got nothing bad to say on pretty much any car or truck as if that is what the buyer likes, that is all that counts. As for the cybertruck I built a similar one with Tinker Toys when I was 5 or 6 but of course it was just wood sticks and such. But it had the lines like the CT lines to a point and kids have been building toy cars with angles for ages (pre computer of course) in the 50's and 60's. Again enjoy your truck just remember to drive careful when on the road and be considerate to others.
